Thanks in advance
For Heroics, the hit cap is about 7% only. (against a lev72 mob)
I am sure you would tank with no problem with ~5%.
If you spec to Frost, with HB for sure. Glyph to let HB to spread FF.
For a group of mobs, run in -> D&D -> HB -> BB -> Dump RP(always) -> HB if up -> OB if HB is on CD -> Keep BB if Blood Rune is up. If you still have threat problem, use D&D in your rotation.
Again, Death and Decay is your friend. It produces the most threat to you, because it simply has a 1.9 threat-modifier(plus 60% in FP).

DG>D&D>HB>BB>FS>HoW(Horn of Winter)>IBF(Icebound fortitude), rinse and repeat
The rotation is okay.
But, keep in mind that IBF is an ability to save your life. Do not use it unless you are in dangerous.
If you really have to keep an ability to lower your incoming damage, use Unbreakable Armor. UA will not save you, but it's used to lower the damage you take when tanking a group of mobs.

So, i will appreciate if someone would point out if I am statistically ready to start Heroics and gear up through drops.
You are ready, and should probably have little to no problems tanking any heroic. You should probably aim firstly for the defense cap (540) so that your healer won't panic and suffer a heart attack.
Problem I see these days isn't so much the tank's problem, it's more the itchy fingers of the dps (I am one of those) wanting to hit anything within a second or even less of a pull. You could start of groups by saying that you would appreciate dps going a bit slow to get a lay of the land, might help a bit.
did VH and we wiped completely
There are some interesting fights in VH (at least at first) that requires the group to know what they are supposed to be doing. Were you a victim of the "I hit boss, boss die, no need to think" that so many groups have been victim of? Was it you taking too much dmg for the healer to keep up?
Besides a bit low on stamina you seem to have a decent tank set. I say that because I had almost the same stuff when I ventured into heroics for the first time. I was blessed by playing with people I knew tho, so might have made it a bit easier. Non of the mega pulls and AoE grinding of the instances we see today. Was much more relaxed back then :)
Anyway, just my 2cent.
Edit: Is it really needed to pull with DG all the time? DG can be quite good for when one of the mobs run wild to that crazy 'ranged dps' in the back.
