Dang, it erased most of my post.
Other useful macros.
#showtooltip Disengage
/cast Wing Clip
/cast Disengage
Something chases you, cast this and you fly back and slow him. Nuff said.
Most of the buttons on my main action bar are just macro'd with multiple shots, 2=Explosive Shot, shift2 Kill Shot. If you want to do the same just start with this little template.
#showtooltip
Shot Name
/cast
First Shot
/cast
Second Shot
/cast
Etc.
the tooltip line tells the game to display that on the button, use this for the shot that needs a cooldown to be watched, such as my 3 button is Serpent Sting, Shift/Black Arrow. I don't need to worry about SptStng, but I do need to watch BA. I'm weird, I have Steady Shot on 4, which I don't need to watch, so I show the tooltip for Kill Shot, even though that is Shift2, so I look in 2 different places.
Macro in Kill Command to almost all your buttons, you want that to pop up as much as possible.
Helpful one I've been using since I was ~40 or so is a mend pet macro. I haven't written it in a long time so the command may be off.
/cast reset=15 Mend Pet
Pressing this will activate Mend Pet and turn the light off on the button, like its on cooldown. This prevents you from pressing the button again and wasting mana/time. 15 seconds later it lights up like normal. I use a different image so no tooltip line. There's another macro for misdirect but I can't remember what it is off hand. When you use it it casts misdirect on your focus target if it exists. If not, it casts it on your pet.

I don't like going to EJ because they just keep building on the same thread for dozens of pages, with no cleanup. Over time things change, and they may seem like small changes, but end up breaking macros. Like Kill Shot, you can't use any old macros because it takes a GCD now, but if you were to just read their threads you'd have to find one post out of 1000 that says that, otherwise you keep wondering why this über macro doesn't work.
At least here a poster will modify and edit their stickies...sometimes.

Unless something changed, I'm pretty sure you don't need to use targetlasttarget after using . I haven't used it on a Wyvern Sting macro, but in 3.08 it wont actually target your focus on your UI, it just sends the spell toward your focus.

I'm pretty sure you're right, I don't use focus targets for shots, only MD and such.

This is my favorite misdirect macro ever.....
/focus
/run local f="focus" if UnitName(f)~=nil then if IsControlKeyDown() then SendChatMessage("Focus set to %f","CHANNEL",nil,"5") end end
/stopmacro
/cast Misdirection
For this part "/focus " you can change the "ctrl" to whatever key you want to use. The way this works is you target, lets say the main tank of your raid. Then, hold down the "crtl" key and click the macro button. This will set focus on that target... the main tank. Then to cast the misdirect, just simply click the macro button but this time without holding the "ctrl" button.
You can also add the line "/tar playernamehere" to the very top of the macro, and simply change the word "playernamehere" to the name of your tank.
For example:
/tar Cantholdaggro
/focus
/run local f="focus" if UnitName(f)~=nil then if IsControlKeyDown() then SendChatMessage("Focus set to %f","CHANNEL",nil,"5") end end
/stopmacro
/cast Misdirection
You can even /tar your pets name as well...... love this macro!
Enjoy! =)
