Depends on what type of healer, also. A resto druid, I've found, is very easy to kill as long as you jump on them very early, stunlock, and roll them before their HoTs get cast. I can't count how many times my partner and I can slaughter a Druid within the first seconds of the fight, but if we take too long, we are never able to chop it down.
It's all about timing. Study the healers, learn what their cooldowns are -- for instance, a Disco Priest has about a 7.5 second cooldown on Penance (assuming they're spec'd and glyph'd for it, which if they have any sense at all they will be). As soon as you see the start of a Penance cast, start your stun lock and pin them down as fast as possible, before another cooldown comes up.
Just really study the healing classes, and put yourself in their shoes -- think about what they REALLY don't want to happen in a 2vs2, and make it happen.

yeah, i am playing 2v2 about 1k rating, trying with that too .. but the dps always have a trick to stop me, stuns, death grip etcetra ..
The curse of being ret. They say we are OP because we have freedom, but freedom is our only saving grace. After that, or if it's dispelled, you are useless for a considerable amount of time against warriors and DK's.

First off, Resto druids with 1 HoT up and barkskin will not die from a stunlock unless you have a healing debuff and a second perst toon. If they die in the first few seconds, they are silenced and can't use Bark Skin.
Second, you want to interupt Penance, then give them till they start casting a healing spell, to CC them and try to nuke them down and hopefully your interupt will be available on the next time they pennance(mind freeze, kick, and pummel are all on 10 second CD's).
For a ret, you burst like hell, if you get peeled, accept it and start nuking the other person. Spreading the damage and keeping damage flowing is what makes you dangerous. I've also found that with the current gear levels, anything lower than Furious Weapon or BoH seems rather under powered. Once you get the huge swing damage of the Furious Weapon, you will notice healers getting burst for a whole lot more.
Also, for the healer haters out there. Remember, if you focus the healer, he can't drink, but he will never LoS himself so he will always be able to heal. Disc priests have a 30 second fear timer, which will make it extremely hard to kill them and if you have a resto druid partner, you will have a horrible time trying to kill a priest because of it without using cyclone liberally to stop or prevent healing.
If you focus the dps, the healer can sneak drinks in here and there, but you may be able to kite him away from his healer and get a repentance kill on the DPS if he's being dumb.
If you switch back and forth, they have to stack buffs/HoT's on 2 targets, and it causes major problems for them keeping up with the healing.

QFT. Like I said, as long as you jump them very early on. I'm not a serious Arena player; when I do play, it's with an Unholy DK partner. Getting that initial silence and stunlock is key, and shutting them down in the very beginning of the fight, just as they come unstealthed (every tree we've faced comes walking into the arena floor cat-form and stealthed). I honestly don't have any good strategy at all for once they get their HoTs rolling. The things you mentioned (spreading the damage) are really good pieces of advice.

More good advice. This also depends on how long the healer has been rolling, though -- a Disco Priest with a lot of Divine Aegis and PW:S up will not go down during a stun-lock, even if Penance is on cooldown. However, if his mitigations are down, it's a perfect chance to burn him down as fast as possible, before three ticks of Penance can get off, both healing and adding to their mitigation.
