I'm leveling a holy priest following the incredible guidance of Chiv at
http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=101234
and other great forum posters. While my priest is only level 31 now, I'm looking forward to the time when she will be able to more often heal groups and raids. In the couple of instances she's been, I can track health easily enough because there are only 5 of us. However, I end up buffing each member separately. I know that priests in my pally's raiding groups can buff the entire group simultaneously. Is this done via an addon? And, if so, which one is preferred?
Along those same lines, when healing assignments are made for raids, how does one track healing of a group of 10 or more? Another addon?
Admittedly, I'm anticipating waaay ahead of my current level, but I'm having a great time with my priest and only wish I'd discovered the class earlier!
Thanks in advance for your thoughtful replies.

There is no add-on to get you around the GCD, what you are seeing on your pally are higher level spells:
Prayer of Fortitude
- Level 48
Prayer of Shadow Protection
- Level 56
Prayer of Spirit
- Level 60
So keep buffing individually for now, at 48 it starts getting much easier ;)

Thank you Skadia and Chiv for your quick replies! As with most classes, the 'cooler stuff' comes 'later'.

I'd recommend starting using either Healbot or Grid+clique early. You'll find it makes you much more effective as a healer.
Healbot seems to be easier to use, but it has to main cons. First, it's extreamly buggy and every once in a while you won't be casting your intended spell. Second, it's huge. Get into a 25 man raid or a 40 man WG/AV, and it tends to take up a large amount of your screen.
Both programs work by you using up to 5 buttons on your mouse, and having a click, shift+click, alt+click, and ctrl+click; this gives you up to 20 availabe spells you can do by simply clicking on a box.
Both programs also let you track different buffs/debuffs on a target, as well as who has aggro. As a disc priest (using grid+clique) I track aggro, Grace, Renew, PoM, Weakened Soul, magic debuffs, disease debuffs, whether someone is alive or dead, w/in 40 yds of me, afk, and ready checks. All in that tiny little box...and of course, how much hp they have.
When I was using Healbot, I tracked the same things, but everything was to bulky for me, so I tried grid+clique and love it.

Thank you Iskurion and Aldones for your replies. While I was limiting my OP to raid buffs and heals, I'm already experiencing some 'cool stuff' even while I just now hit lev 36 :)
I appreciate the recommendation for the addon, too. I'll experiment w/ both and see what suits me and my screen.
Thanks all for your thoughtful comments!

Please excuse my ignorance...ZF? Is that a talent I can't seem to pinpoint? It's not yet 5AM here so perhaps I'm not yet awake. LOL
