Protection
* Devastate now causes 60% weapon damage (up from 50%) plus 121 (up from 101) at max rank. Lower ranks increased accordingly.
* Shield Specialization now has a 20/40/60/80/100% to generate 5 rage (up from 2) when a block, dodge, or parry occurs. (Old - Only proc from blocks)
Just hope the changes stick. That's pretty freakin' sick actually. Time to shift points back away from Cruelty and into Shield Spec. I'm guessing an 80% chance to get 5 rage is going to be good enough; don't really see a good spot to eek out that last point; focused rage probably.

yes, the rage from avoidance change is LOOOONNNNGGG overdue.
and it's nice to see our dps/tps get bumped up a bit too.

Anyone else worried that the change to Shield Spec is a harbinger of Blizzard removing rage from damage taken? I mean, Warrior tanks usually have pretty hefty amounts of dodge, block, and parry...I could see them upping the amount of rage gained from damage dealt and making this a "mandatory" talent for tanks, and assuming the rage generation will be equivalent. Which if it was would be fine; I just worry about the execution.
Or, it could just be a buff, which would be sweet.

Well the change to Shield SPec won't do much difference to me in high level instances since I have trouble bruning all my rage as it is now. It will only improve my tanking in heroics and such where, frankly, I don't care much about the improvement since I always tank those in my threat set with less avoidance and more DPS/threat stats.
But both changes will be nice for protection PvP, so I'm looking forward to that.

It's not bad but it could be a lot better. Instead of having all three of those lumped up in one skill it'd be a lot better if they let Deflection and Anticipation have the Rage Chance per Parry/Dodge.
