I assume you are leveling shadow, (and healing the occasional instance with your offspec disc ) so you want to focus on gear which allows you to kill the mobs the fastest and most mana efficient. This means sp > crit > int as a general rule of thumb. You really should never have to drink with 3 min fiend, vt, and dispersion, so just stack offensive stats. Keep you regen gear in your bank for when you heal instances. Your regen gear has a lot of int, spirit, mp5 etc.
Also its not worth it to gem stuff that will soon get replaced, unless you have enough money to where it doesn't make a difference. So taking all that into consideration, use the tunic, and if you want you can socket the britches with regen gems and use it for healing.

since the spirit nerfs in the recent patches Disc priest no longer have use for spirit
so main stats for Disc are aswell SP, crit, int and mp5 (the last one doesnt amtter for shadow spec)
I dont know much of Shadow tree so will only talk about Disc
for healing isntnaces in Disc your mp5 is more than fine you should get a little bit more crit tough

for healing in instances penance is a must already... respec to that, the next talent points should be in Holy Specialization > Pain Supression > Renewed Hope > Focused will then invest again the Holy tree until you've this at 80:

my opinion ^^ but penance is a must have since 60

my last post there tells about my experience as Disc in Northrend lvling ^^
but if you dont master the Disc Spec it may slow you down eternally... so you prolly should stick up to lvling as Shadow...
about what gothri said dont run too many instnaces but, however, run each one at least once... the q that involve instances give a nice amount of xp and like you're healer it wont be hard to get a fine group at all^^

SP+crit
a Disc priest should be about 30% crit with Holy Specialization included, a shadow priest now that Mind Flay can crit should have some crit chance to

If you have a healing spec, you could run in pretty crappy gear and still heal anything up until 80, so I wouldn't worry about that to much. While I havn't looked at anything you have, Darklord is right, if you don't have Penance, respec to get it (or if you can get it in a lvl or two, drop anything else you were working on tp wise, and get it asap). Even with the CD, it still has a higher healing output for me than any other spell in my arsenal.
As for shadow, crit is very helpful, but raw sp is always better than crit. If your not familiar w/ pseudopoints (pp), it's a way to rate states where 1 pp = 1 sp. While these are the stats for 80, they transfer over pretty well.
1 hit = 1.31 pp (when not hit capped)
1 sp = 1 pp
1 crit = .71 pp
1 haste = .65 pp (don't worry about haste until 80)
1 int = .21 pp
1 spi = .21 pp
Those would be the latest updates as far as I know, but it should give you a pretty good idea on how to prioratize different stats for shadow. When lvling, w/ spirit tap, a 3 min fiend, and dispersion, you shouldn't have any mana problems whatsoever.

that pp is for shadow right?
cause I dotn see spirit having as much importance as int in Disc^^
in Disc is something likE
SP > Crit > Int > mp5 > Haste i guess

Yes, that's for shadow. As far as disc goes, spirit is fairly worthless. I did some mathmatics a while back, and 4 spi roughly = 1 mp5.
However, as far as the OP is concerned, he shouldn't have to worry about disc until 80.
