Changing outfits

Greetings you clever people.
I'm looking for a macro to use changing between 2 outfits fast. For example when fishing and having to fight a spawned mob or a player comming by trying to disturb you and the other way around when comming to the fishing spot and needing to equip the fishing gear
I'm thinking about something like
- when wearing "normal headpiece", "normal gloves" and "normal weap"
then change to "fishing headpiece", "fishing gloves" and "fishingpole"
and then ofc opposite when having "fishing outfit" equiped.
Is this possible?
Best regards the Duck

As long as you're not trying to change any rings or trinkets you can use this/equip .....
/equip .....
/equip .....You'll need to use 2 different macros, 1 for the fishing gear, the other for the rest. That is, unless someone can make one that'll switch both ways for you.

yeah I was thinking I could use that kind of macro if nothing else. But as you are saying I would like to put it into one and thereby switching between the outfits rather than just tanking another outfit on :)

Couldn't you also just use the built-in Equipment Manager and drag the icon of the saved outfit to the action bar?

Sure. That would be an easy way of doing it. But again, that would require 2 different buttons. I'm looking for a method to just use one changing between the 2....

I just realized something like this might work. I don't know if all the punctuation is exactly correct so may have to get a real macro writer to proofread it./equip pole, gloves, hat
/equip weapon, gloves, hatLike I said, that's just a rough draft but it should work once the correct symbols are put in.

no it wouldn't. Make a set for your normal gear, make a set for your fishing gear and then do:
/equipset Fishing; Normal
Holding a modifier will equip your fishing gear, normally clicking will equip your normal gear.
