Actually, it is. The parry gib argument has been proven false. Many times. A DWing DK tank gets parried no more often than a warrior does.
I'd like to see proof of this. Expertise affects both weapons independently, and OH attacks are just as susceptible to parry/dodge as MH attacks. By DW-ing as a tank, you're at least doubling the number of white swings you make, each of which is rolled on to see if it is a hit/crit/dodge/parry/miss.

Dual Wield should work, as with the new emblem loot you can do heroic instances in T8.
But for endgame raiding content it remains "interesting".

and HB dw will never be viable and will always be out DPS and this is coming from a Huge DW fan. 2H will always out DPS DW dk's since the re juggling of the trees
It was never ment to be better then 2h weapons its just more usable now so you can play what ever you want. I don't see why you have to get all dramatic about it, its a game live with it.
Also the gear will be kinda easy to get with the new emblem system free t7.5 and t8.2 from nooby hc dungeon's...
Edit:
The reason I said it will be more difficult to hit defense cap is because without a 2Her you can't use Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle. It gives 25 defense, NOT defense rating. If you get two
Titanguards
, that will net you 70 defense rating ( about 14 defense). That leaves you to pick up another 11 defense elsewhere in your gearing itemization.
If your in any good endgame tanking gear you will always have some defense to spare because you will need to have all the items from a certain tier (ilvl232 or wht ever it is) to get the balance from that tier itemization. I wouldn't worry to much about DW tanks, its still doable its not like vanilla wow where everything is so hard. Wow went easy mode stuff is getting cleared faster then ever. Tacts aren't that hard any more and 10man Ulduar content can be tanked by DK's in DPS gear...

I pretty sure the Hit amount needed is
ALOT
for DW. Therefor, without the gear with large amounts of hit on, your basically gonna have to trade in some stam gems for hti ones, which isn't great at all..
You dont need to be hit capped with DW because
1.Lets say that with a 2h you hit 20 times per minute(and you are hit capped)and each attack does 1000dmg so that 20X1000=20k dmg per minute
2.If an 1h weapon hits twice faster than 2h and does the half of the dmg then you will hit four times faster when DW as you have 2X1h weapons. So that makes 80 strikes per minute.Ofc you have the same hit rating as 2h but you are not hit capped so you miss around the half of the hits so thats 40 succesfull hits per minute. If a hit does 500dmg thats it 40X500=20k dmg per minute so its the same.If you are hit capped with DW you will do 80 hits per minute but you will loose MUCH crit, str,ap so that could make 80 hits per minute with 250dmg each which makes 20k dmg per minute again.
Thats all the same.
Okay first off mate, your stats are off. Getting 2 fast weapons will always be a bad idea. In order for it to be, close to being true you would need a weapon with a speed of 1.8 compared to a 2h and with 3.6. However, as basic wow theorycrafting will show you 1.8 speed weapons are not desired for optimal dps as opposed to 2.5 speed weapons. Otherwise daggers would be the optimal dps weapon, so your math is wrong, and posting it without actual numbers is a bad idea. Go do a test and watch how much farther your dps will drop. Your dps and total damage will drop drastically, why because a 1.8 speed weapon will not have half the amount of high end damage, your crits and standard hits will be less than half of what the other weapon is.
I can do a spreadsheet printout along with the math, but it would waste my time, and the facts can be found in just about every Melee theorycrafting on DW dps. Check the rogue forums, the only way daggers became as good was to give special attacks only to daggers or 1.8 speed weapons.
Again this is basic Theorycrafting and posting something like the above is the reason why you see so many shamans with daggers it's just ridiculous to assume it.
Slow MH/Slow OH welcome to the world of shamans DW DK's. The idea is to maximize top end damage and crits. Hence fast weapons will not work, because it will take you two swings to make up for one of mine.

Epidemic would be a better point spent than Morbidity unless you had UB and were planning on adding a DC to your rotation. Samhein and I have been discussing several build in his thread 3.2 dps theories and findings.
