How to hide classic wow news? It gets super annoying.

An option to filter all types of news on the homepage was added earlier this week. Please see the response here. It should work with ad blockers. If you have a ton of conflicting addons running, it may not work, along with many other parts of the site. Feedback can be sent to .Further discussion on this post should be about classic weapon skill.
There are a couple of things that i wonder in regards to Weapon Skills.Do increases cap out at 315? So - if i am a Human, Rogue with Weapon Expertise, and i have Hungering cold - do i go to 316?Also - I did a model of the growth gain of DPS ranges in terms of Rogue Weapon Skill increase (assuming 4% Glancing blow mitigation)comparative to the Evis increase (which is a 15%, so 1.5% DPS increase per 10% of your total DPS that consists of Evis)A very fascinating pattern is the diminishing returns damage reduction of Glancing Blows. If we assume the damage reduction is 4% total - it's relative to how much % of your attacks are auto attacks - contra that of Imp. Evis. in relation to your total % of dmg being Evis.So - if 50% of your dmg is AA - You get a total of 2% dmg reduction from the Glancing - whilst the cut-off pointin terms of Evis being a gain - in relative DPS - is around 13.5%So - when 13.5% of your total DPS - is Evis - picking improved Evis with 15%, becomes better than a 4% Glancing blowreduction mitigation - assuming 50% of your Dmg is auto attacks.60% AA - would be increase at Evis at 16% of your Total DPS.40% AA - would be increase at Evis at 10.5% of your Total DPSI put this into a Graph form with some Python code - modelling the differentialIt's extremely fascianting - could cross reference attack speed gains - but overall - I think the first5 weapon skill points are the most important for a rogue.Past that - you're probably better off with increase Evis dmg, from my calculations. Can showcase the Plots - if anyone is interested.
RemovedAnyway, I'm really excited to get my Knuckle Sandwich again. There won't technically be an achievement, but I'll know it in my heart.
Oh thanks!
In classic will it still reset weapon skills when you respec?
Weapon skill is an excellent example of things I do not want in the current WoW. Collect white hits to get better with a weapon.. Just dull in my opinion.
Hey Perc,Good to see you are still writing for wowhead. Do you know if there is a group of people from JC that plan to play classic at launch?
