Don't be surprised if you're seeing Naralex is being needed in 90% of your missions prior to level 110.
Since he is among the first two champions you receive Blizzard probably wanted to make sure you're always able to complete your missions even if you don't do your class hall campaign to unlock the next two champions.
It creates a noticeable unbalance though, as your other champions, namely Broll and Sylendra, the 3rd and 4th champions, seems like they're almost never needed in missions, and thus receive lower amounts of experience points since you can only send 3 of your 4 champions on any single mission, leaving one champion out.
Since Naralex is needed in almost every missions he'll surely be your highest level champion prior to level 110.

Im suprised nobody has commented so far on his abbility. its absolutely OP as @#$%, especially for world quest speed killing. 50% more dmg to a target when you got 5-40 ppl nuking a mob. Many mobs are not immune to this stun such as pvp bosses in towers and most warden wanted.

Also just for solo its sick for burst fight - Also you can get resource/gold via follower items with this one

When Naralex casts Nightmarish Visions on a mob, it appears as a magic buff, not a debuff. If you are a mage, you will be tempted to Spellsteal it.

For any Druid who wants a combat ally for generating extra gold and resource on World Quests (using their equipment slots), but doesn't want a bodyguard following them around and being annoying, then I would recommend Naralex.

He doesn't act as a guardian pet but instead gives you a spell on a 3 minute cooldown that increases damage on the target by 50% for 10 seconds, AND stuns them in the process! (Plus a cool "Sleep Now" shout out when you activate).

The debuff works on all mobs that are vulnerable against stun. I play a guardian Druid and tough elites are the only thing that slow me down on world quests. So this has been a great fix. Whether on normal World Quest bosses, or the Captains of watch towers for PvP world Quests, or just a random elite you want to finish off fast.

Unfortunately most rares on Argus are stun immune so this doesn't work. But I still find it useful on the lesser elites.

And of course - even if you can't use the sleep spell - he's still generating you gold with every quest if you give him the right equipment. And I'm not a huge fan of having guardians or pets so this is a perfect setup.

New players hopping into Legion during 7.3 like myself should save their good world quest gold and order resource bonus champion equipment for Thisalee Crow instead of using it on Naralex. She has really good always-on combat ally bonuses like 10% haste for Moonkins and 20% speed for Travel Form. I didn't know about those and wasted a Ward of Infinite Fury on Naralex before I unlocked her.

This Champions ability does not seem to work on any of the Argus Elites, which are honestly the only mobs his ability would be very useful on at this stage in the game. I'd choose a different champion if you're doing Argus quests.
