I'm particularly curious about the scuba gear and helm.....😞😞😞
as always good info in the wow economy weeklys,some stuff i knew already from the wow economy discord servers what i can recommend for both novice as experienced goldmakers to share tips and learn from each others mistakes. i understand the chances they made to the raf system. it was designed for new people and i guess in blizzards eyes it was being abuzed by current players leveling up an alt army fast. what they dont seem to want.
I think engineering is the most interesting profession at BFA and i believe they add more items in all the professions!
I'm really sad about the RAF nerf. But I do like the gold making method in the post! I'll try it. Thank you so much!
It is a good point that the closer we get to the end of Legion, the cheaper it will be to level up professions. Always a good idea to have as many professions maxed at the start of a new expansion.
I really hope alchemy keeps being great. They nailed it in Legion and I´m looking forward to it in Battle for Azeroth. These new datamined items are looking great so far!
When i first saw the max 100 profs level I thought... "WTF? NO! I just spent all that time getting them leveled to 800!" but about 60 seconds later, I realized that this is actually much better. I am looking forward to the profession changes the more I read about them.
not so surprised with the BaF changes
As a jewelcrafter still prefer to make gold with panthers (usually black). The most profit (~30k with the black one) I get if farm all the materials by myself. It may take ~2,5-3 hours (about 700 units of MoP iron) and 2 to 4 days to sell.Nevertheless, I still seems to be ez money (expecially if you can entertain yourself somehow while farming the ore :D ).
I mainly just focus on gather professions to make gold for the past 2 xpac's they have been the best way i have found to make easy gold. I just find it easy due to the fact with gathering prof's you can do them while leveling but doing this does depend on your server.Sadly they do seem to fall off later in the xpac.
I'm not really preparing for BfA. I'm just kind of passively making gold using JC when I can and leveling up characters. Hopefully, the jewelcrafting market won't be so broken (at least on my server), next expansion. I did level jewelcrafting to 800, so I'll be able to go into BfA with the ability to immediately start jewelcrafting and mining for new stuff.
I'm really dissapointed with the RaF changes. Blizzard loves to take away all the nice things about WoW. I will miss the 200% XP bonus.
I'm looking forward to new engineering doodads and the new mount has me excited. I have noticed recently my funds are starting to dip so I might use the advice posted by The Lazy Goldmaker.
I don't think leveling has really slowed down all that much. If anything, being able to complete every zone, and not run off to another one the second you've out leveled it may save you some time. Mind you, I've never been a speed-leveler, so who knows.
Hyped for bag and new pet in leatherworking! Wish engineering would get more ;-;
The RAF changes make total sense. Now, if only I could lure more friends in...
I'm excited about glove enchants, as well as engineering stuff. Main being Engineer, so more activated bombs for her.
What excites you about the upcoming expansion professions? Is there anything that you would like to see added in addition to what has already been datamined? I know this is a bit subversive but I hope it's ok: I am -not- excited about the squish. I know they want the numbers down but it feels like every time they've 'remixed' professions it's come out worse, not better (hi WoD, hi Legion). I also fear that I will somehow lose something - Blizzard seems to be more and more lax automating these things. I have old, unobtainable recipes/plans/etc. I need to remember to screenshot the hell out of my profs, lol. I want to see some JCing changes. JCing in Legion (most specifically prospecting, but also the last ~20-30 pts) was ridiculous. Not worth it. Not fun. Not really anything. This will come out more in the %values and squish levels than new items, so I'm still a bit hopeful.
Really disappointed about the RaF nerf. I can agree with blizzard being right about what it was mainly used for, wasn't what it was intended for. But heck if it wasn't useful and nice. I was planning on doing RaF to level the allied races, but guess I'll pass on that now.
