i wanted to hurl in excitment after reading the jewelcrafting part but nope... Another year, same jc. Yet I have my hopes that maybe until launch something exciting will happen c;
I originally wanted to create a second account for RAF but when I saw the changes i immediately changed my decision...I hope blizzard removes these changes or just makes it like it used to work!
I used RAF way back when I first started wow again. While I admit that the XP bonus of 300% was a bit too much, the new 50% is a tad too little in my opinon. Though the leveling rates are not the incentive for RAF, I personally am more interested in the mounts. I guess I find the new RAF to be alright but it could be better.
I'm a chicken when it comes to spending my gold to make gold, but this page has just given me so many ideas. Probably time to get TSM and get to it! I love gold <3
So excited that enchanters will be able to enchant things again...helpful things, like weapons and gloves! Woohoo! I also look forward to seeing what happens to Engineering and Blacksmithing. I have max level professions on all my toons this time, which is a first, so I'm really excited! Thanks for the great info ~ I've really enjoyed reading your gold tips, and I've made over a million gold for the first time utilizing some of your tricks. <3
I was testing the RAF changes myself, not as a gold-farmer, but as a person that wants to level alongside a friend once again. So I've recruited my friend and geared him with a set of heirlooms, for a full set except the ring it's 45% bonus exp, I quickly come to realize that actually the bonus exp is almost totally removed. Because they don't stack we got only 5% improvement for him and none for me. This also made us realize that now it does't meter what our individual characters level are, while before the difference in lvl should at most 4 lvls for the RaF boost to work, now, because of the world scaling, we only have to be in the same level bracket 1-60, 60-80 or 80-90. I have to say I feel a lot more free then before. P.S Again, I don't care for speed leveling too much. Still it's a bad thing that it was nerfed "to the ground".
Actually RAF is how I started playing WoW, my boyfriend wanted a two-seater mount and needed a fast levelling boost. I still remember how annoying it was that he was hurrying me up to get the most of this boost while I wanted to get to know everything around me. I'm sure that if he had invited me on the new conditions, we would most probably have been only levelling in a comfortable pace.I'm kind of a Lawful Neutral person and I believe the changes in RAF system are perfectly fair. It wasn't introduced to allow people to get another few pets and mounts by spending some money on themselves with a leveling boost as an additional bonus. If you don't have friends to invite then the rewards shouldn't be so available for you anyway. After that I also invited one friend and got the reward. I never wanted to abuse the system and invite another account of mine, though I really want those other mounts and pets as a big fan of collecting things. If I get a chance, I will definitely try the renewed RAF option and invite more friends. The not-so-egoistic levelling idea sounds much much better!
With the new bags adding in BfA our backpack ist still the smalles bag we have and im glad they add 4 more slots with the authentificator to it, but i would love to see some sort of craftable or obtainable upgrade for it in the new expansion
finally inscription going to be much more useful in BoA, i am loving it, i like it the contract things are awesome. also gold making discussion are good too.
I'd never used the raf system until a friend decided I absolutely needed an american account in order to play with him and another friend of ours. I'm sad that the exp boost got such a heavy nerf before I was really even able to reap the benefits of it for my brand new teeny bopper characters. Interested in seeing professions being less of a pain to actually do something with, hopefully actually be able to do something interesting with my profession using characters.
I'm ok with the RAF changes. My concern was with the leveling process becoming much slower for veteran players like me who has seen the content numerous times. Blizzard did acknowledge that and expressd a desire to fix it ingame. That's good enough for me. Huge fan of significantly increasing XP gain from heirlooms btw.
Incription was really poor and boring on legion now with the new contract i see a really good form to make some gold or simply use it for myself
I love gathering mats and selling what I do not need. I really am liking this scuba suit. I have a leather worker and inscript worker. They have been making me the most gold so far in any xpac. I am looking forward to making all that money!
Glad they are finally giving us a bigger bag.
I have a Jewel crafter and haven't thought about obliterating the uncut gems. I'm glad this post mentioned that because I had put my jewel craft on the back burner for the most part, but now I have a reason to use it again!
I'm making some gold selling old enchants and mats! Can't wait to make the new bag!
I don't mind RaF changes, as long as they maybe increase the heirloom exp% a bit? I mean it's good for the newcommers, but for people leveling alts it can be rather painful. That would help both the veteran players level alts and help out their friends level at the same time. But to be frank, exp% decrease is a pretty solid solution along with the new scalable zones, good work from my pov.
Making the professions expansion-specific is a brilliant move that makes grinding them up to cap way less of a pain. I am actually looking forward to adding new professions now on characters!
Herbalism and Inscription always kept me afloat. I strongly recommend them, having had them for a few expansions now...
The inscription reputation scrolls look fantastic, can not wait to get some use out of them. The money making tips with felwort look good, i'm drowning in them at the moment
