The boss is like normal, dps until energy reaches 100 and phase 2 begins.

Id recommend using lust and just nuking the boss.

Assign 4 people to an orb colour in the middle.
The 5th person (ideally tank) should use the center console behind the boss and dictate where each orb goes.

You need the expanding pool from the boss to reach the outer consoles WITHOUT DUNKING as it reaches, dunk.
*USE A DEFENSIVE*
You then need to kill boss.

This is why lust helps

This achievement is actually pretty easy.
During the intermission phase, the boss is immune and spreads fire on the ground outward from the middle of the room ("Sanitizing Field"). In that phase you have to take 4 colored orbs that spawn on the 4 runes in the room and put all of them into the correct console in each corner of the room. That's the boss mechanic concerned here.
Now, to do the achievement, all you have to do is wait a bit before putting the orbs in their respective console. All 4 orb-carrying players stand at their console, ready to click, and wait until the sanitizing fire reaches them. The moment the fire touches your feet, you click (you'll notice the fire animation on your screen's edge and the debuff). If you move out quickly after clicking your console, you won't even get a single tick of damage! You can use a defensive if you get hurt too much, of course, but DON'T immune the debuff before clicking the console!

Note: You have to do this on every orb phase, with all 4 orbs. With enough dps, a single orb phase played correctly will do (bloodlust/heroism after and kill the boss). We were somewhat slow though and had to do a second orb phase. In that case, don't panic, just do it again: stand at your console, wait, click the moment the fire reaches you, and that's it. :)

Alright for others, that maybe have the same troubles like us. Long story short:

- The person has to stand in the field, the console is not important
- The graphic doesnt match with the debuff, so rather look at the debuff than waiting for the graphical field to reach you
- The Orbs don't have to be put in the same time.
- THE FIRST CLICK COUNTS: Means, if you missclicked without buff and then remove the orb and put it in again with buff its already failed! The first time you put in the orb is counted for the archivement

Note: Less health boss have slower Sanitizing Field move.We was zerging boss to 15-20% HP and 1 minute orb buff wasn't enough to reach Sanitizing Field. I recommend save all CD+BL after doing achievement mechanics.

If you're doing this in 9.2, make sure the 4 orb/console players are about on the first step near each console for clicking it as soon as possible upon application of the Sanitizing Field debuff - no need to wait for floor graphic. This is about 1 yard closer to the console than the cursor will indicate, and is required. Fully max cursor range doesn't let you click the console.

If you take too long to click the console, the orbs will do an animation where they drop to the floor, but you keep the orb debuff. If this happens, you are no longer able to end Sanitizing Cycle and will wipe without the achievement. We believe this is a hidden timer which also corresponds to the time at which the 4 runes deactivate during Sanitizing Cycle, which is about 1 minute.

This is bugged in 9.2 - Our group could not get it to work, we tried it all...like 10-15 wipes. Sigh Blizzard.

Update: Got it in another group now - AND we made it with 1 sec left or something...did dps boss and adds. So idk. You can check the timer on the boss cast timer...starts at 5 min iirc.

Couple of people reported this achievement to be bugged as of 9.2, we managed to finish it today after a couple of failed attempts. originally we tried bursting the boss down but the way we did it today was to not damage the boss at all, wait for the sanitizing phase, wait with picking up the orbs for when the sanitizing area starts spreading, get to consoles while staying as far as possible (usually right under steps) and once we get debuff, we used orbs. Only this method gave us the achievement. Good luck!

Since the M+ nerf (fire speading much more slowly), the window to complete this achievement is very tight.

Reason is, 60 seconds into the cast, the orbs despawn. Even if you pick orbs before they despawn - which is okay and does not matter - the boss bugs out if you take more than 60 seconds (from the beginning of the cast) to complete the event.

If you want to have the fire debuff AND be at range for socketing the orbs WITHOUT having the boss bugging, you have to do it at around 59 seconds from the beginning of the cast (it is the time it takes for the fire to spread enough for this achievement).

Also, remember that being "max range" from the console bugs out the socketing, so try to be... a bit less than max range.

After numerous attempts, we finally got this done. The achievement does seem rather buggy.

Specific tactics we used:

Stand on the first step just before the second step.
Click once, and only when you have the debuff.
Everyone should have the debuff including the console user - don't move out when you put it in. This is the specific change we did on the successful kill.

This achievement is a prime example of how bad Blizzard quality and attention to detail has gone down the drain over the years.

After banging our heads on the wall for a while and trying the most ridiculous ideas we finally managed this to work, so for any poor soul attempting to do this in 9.2.5 and after here's what we did:

1. After pulling the boss do not DPS him at all - the higher his HP is the faster the Sanitizing Field will fill up the room which is crucial.
2. After the two adds spawn, don't dps them and don't interupt them - let them do whatever they want to do.
3. Once the boss finishes the cast & starts channeling Sanitizing Cycle you have exactly 1 minute to stop it else the fight bugs & you will have to reset.
4. Once the runes show up - delay picking them for atleast 5 seconds - LET THE ADDS BLOCK THE CONSOLES AND THEN KILL THEM - we had this bug happen where even after inserting the rune in, it got bugged out & instantly returned to the player - even though you could put it back in again it seemed that the fight was already bugged & the boss would not stop his cast.
5. If you're holding a rune, stand in-between the little steps near the consoles - that's the furthest spot away from the console that allows you to put the rune in the moment you get the debuff (this exact spot on top of the delayed rune-pick up fixed the bug of the runes randomly jumping out of the console or not getting put in even after clicking the console).

That's about it. Just gonna leave a few more notes about how pathetic & buggy this is:

- After the boss casts Sanitizing Cycle - you have exactly 1 minute to do the achievement (or just to do the mechanic alone) - if one minute is up, no matter what you do, the fight bugs out - runes show 2 min debuff timer?Boss has a huge channel time?Doesn't matter - after one minute it bugs out.
- Since you have only 1 minute - it's crucial for you to not touch the boss at all - if you do not touch him at all - the debuff you need will reach the stairs (close enough to put in the rune) will be at 57-58 seconds which means all 4 players instering the runes have to be on point. An additional tip for this: The Sanitizing Cycle gives you the debuff around 1 yard further than the actual size of the circle so just keep attention to your debuffs.
- The most important part is to not touch the adds - we were so defeated after trying so many things that surely something as stupid as not touching the adds will not make the boss bug out right?The first pull we decided to totally ignore the adds and let them block 2 Consoles (after boss cassts Sanitizing Cycle the two adds will randomly block 2 consoles preventing you from interacting with them) is the first time the boss didn't bug out & we got the achievement. Previously even if we got lucky & didn't get the rune bug and still put all 4 runes faster than 1 min the boss kept bugging & wasn't breaking his cast.

In the wake of the 9.2 weird bugs, our group ultimately solved the achievement by using the short middle step between the console platform and the lower base area that covers most of the room. That middle step seemed to be the sweet spot between 1) Being close enough to both the console and the debuff, and 2) being able to click the console while still being under the 60 second window. Closer to the console meant you were missing the 60 second window, further meant you were heavily risking many other random bugs (such as the rune being refunded quickly despite the game telling the player they were in range to place it) that would screw you out of the achievement.

Edit for further clarity: The main console reader typed them out as soon as he could so everyone could get in position. He did not need to be standing in the debuff to meet the criteria. Only the 4 other players placing the debuff needed to be touching the bad. We did not DPS the boss until the criteria was met, and we waited a while on the adds - I do not know how much the factors in this sentence contributed to our success. Hopefully this will be patched in the future, but in the meantime this is as close to a fix as you're going to see.

Completed this on 2022-07-13.
After multiple tries, what was found to work out for our group was:

1. Damage boss until around 30% health and kill the adds as soon as they spawn.
2. Await boss to start channeling "Sanitizing Cycle".
3. 4 people pick up orbs, the 5th person stands at the main console and assigns the people to the right colour.
3. While having a orb stand just right under the little steps near the consoles.
4. Await the expanding pool to touch you for the debuff "Sanitizing Field" then everyone inserts the orbs at the same time.
5. Boss will stop the "Sanitizing Cycle" and is now killable.

Just did this achievement today with a lot of frustration on our part....

How we did it was we did the fight as normal besides the second phase. So yes we killed the adds once they spawned.

We picked up the orbs and waited on the first step next to each console just on the edge of the step to maximize how much of a window you have to click the console.

The second your screen glows gold you click the console. We got it with ~1 second left on his timer before he bugged.

I did today the achievement and after many tries with different strats like killing adds, dont killing them, wait before picking the orbs, etc.
The key thing we did was the spot. You have 2 steps next to each console, we stood in the FIRST step, got debuff and clicked. That did the trick. I hope it helps.

As of 10.0.2 this no longer seems to be bugged. We did it without any special positioning, we actually had to wait a little longer because it seems debuff is sometimes resisted by lvl 70. After everyone had the debuff we inserted the orbs and boss fight continued without any bugs, we killed him and got the achiev.

Alright, so this one is pretty interesting currently in patch 10.1.5.

The console tells you the incorrect pattern, if you read it at face value. The order the console shows is shifted to the right. You need to look at the two that are raised higher than the other two, those are the top, then the bottom are the lower two.

At some point since it came out, this bug has appeared, so keep this in mind while attempting.

Easy Solo for Level 70 Dragonflight & Beyond...

1) Mythic Difficulty.

2) Achievement Tracker will change from Red to White when satisfied.

3) Bring boss down to 50% health.

4) A couple adds will spawn, take them out.

5) Hylbrande runs to the middle and begins his cast for sanitizing field, you will eventually see the ground turn yellow and expand outwards from him. Wait till the yellow field gets to the four consoles.

6) Hit up the Titan console in the northeast up the steps to see where the runes should go.

7) Run into the runes and place the runes while making sure you have the sanitizing field debuff in the proper console.

7b) You can tell the runes are in the right place when the column behind the console lights up, if you get stunned you didn't put it in the right place and pick up the rune and try another console.

8) The achievement tracker should have turned white once all runes placed. Nuke boss.

9) ?

10) Profit. Achievement Completed.

If you're on a toon with a threat purge (vanish, feign death, shadowmeld, etc.) with enough power, it might be better to just solo this. I managed to solo on a lv70 ilvl404 Night Elf Balance Druid. I did have success in leaving the mobs alone until they were screwing with the orb consoles, and the circle radius didnt expand until I clicked on the passcode console. Took a few attempts, and my successful attempt took 3 minutes overall. Also can confirm the passcode is still bugged so I'll put in a screenshot of how they line up.

Just soloed this achievement in 10.2 and can confirm there are still bugs with the encounter.

Summary of the achievement:
- During the encounter, the boss will cast 'sanitising cycle' and become immune to damage
- 4 orbs will spawn around him, each with its own colour/rune
- There is a console at the front of the room, plus 4 other consoles around the room.
- Clicking the titan console at the front of the room will reveal where the orbs need to be deposited - one in each of the other 4 consoles.
- During this phase, the boss will create a sanitising field on the ground that will slowly grow. This deals damage when stood in, but at level 70 this damage is negligible.
- The achievement is to ONLY deposit orbs into their correct console whilst stood in this ground effect, so you need to wait until the field grows enough to reach the consoles, so you can stand in it whilst depositing the orbs.

Now the bugs:
First is the Titan Console. When clicking on the console to see the position of the orbs, the positions are rotated clockwise by one position. It's best to just go by the order they appear. So first to appear is front left, second to appear is front right, third to appear is back right and fourth to appear is back left. It's not a big deal if you get the order wrong, just take the orb out and try another console. Just be aware there's a timer on the sanitising cycle phase.

Second is the Sanitizing Field debuff. Sometimes it will just drop off when moving near the steps of the orb panels, despite obviously standing in it. Always ensure you have the debuff before depositing and orb into the panel. Run back and fourth a few times if needed if your debuff falls off.

Third is the achievement or at least the tracker itself. There seems to be a bug where the achievement completion tracker won't turn from red to white, despite doing everything right. I purposefully wiped 3 times to this before the achievement text finally turned white. Others have said they have gotten the achievement despite the tracker text still being red, so up to you if you want to try it.
