Was able to complete in only a couple of hours, with just the Lost Soul in revendreth giving me any trouble! My only complaint is there's no reward aside from the points, but it's a minor complaint since the list is so easy to complete.

If you can't find the pet, you should be able to get it most of them as a secondary pet during battles. I recommend using Anubisath Idol. He is very tanky and can kill 3 pets by himself easily. Took me about 3 hours to complete. Only pet that gave me trouble was Clutch. I had to keep killing the other nearby pets to force him to spawn.

Here are the zones and a few spawn locations in each zone.

Bastion

The Rustfur was a tough one for me, I covered the whole zone twice without seeing one... Found out it can be a secondary, just battle a glimmerwing near one of the tagged spawn points.

i used Renny 1,2,1 / Shimmerbough Hoarder 1,1,1 / Chrominus 2,1,2 through the entire achievement. Renny pretty much rocked everything.

Question: I'm pretty sure I've captured every pet on this list, including a Tranquil Wader, which is shown as being incomplete. That being said, I believe my Tranquil Wader might have been a 'poor' or 'common' variety (with the intention of upgrading like I always do until I get the 'rare') - so, my question concerns whether or not the pets must be 'uncommon' or higher to count for this achieve?

for the Bastion pets, i caught all of them around Terrace of the collectors.
all came up as 1st, 2nd or 3rd pets.
