Battle pet versions (your own collected or the ones in the wild) of the pets have been reported to not work in some specific cases, so you might want to do the whole achievement with critters only.

Check the comments/replies for a list of those which do not work.

Why is this currently live as a "feat of strength" (?) It gives 0 achievement points, where the other 2 new critter achieves give 10 each

So I tried this achievement 4 times already. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it is bugged. I tried it on a mount, without a mount, far away from them and standing right on top of them. But it doesn't work.

You can follow this route (get the waypoints from Bloodleh's comment) while clicking the macro below to easily just fly over each spot and love the critters without constantly spamming the chat with love messages, the macro only posts /love if you have target on something. Keep an eye on your chat when you're flying over an area where you're supposed to love a critter and make sure that you see it pop up in the chat that you have loved it.

Hello All!

I did this achievement this morning thanks to the previous posters' helpful way points. I couldn't tell if I succeeded with the individual critters as there was no tracker showing for me, but I continued through the way points and /love all of the critters posted. I did get the achievement even though I couldn't see any progress, so I'd thought I would post to let you all know that you can still get it without seeing progress.

Like Orackel and others have posted, I was having trouble getting this achievement. I kept trying and eventually got credit after doing /love on a Crested Gekkota near the alliance flight path in Mistvine Ledge.

Wowhead shows there are 3 different versions of Crested Gekkota, and I am guessing some of them work and some don't. So maybe try the ones south near Mistvine Ledge rather than the ones up north and see if that helps. A similar problem might happen for other critters on the list.

Followed the coords list from GraceyViolet, and did not complete the achievement.

After reading shoogen's comment about Crested Gekkota, I went looking for another one. Found a Crested Gekkota at 63, 40. Targeted it and did the love emote and achievement complete.

So if you're having trouble getting this one to complete, try looking for a Crested Gekkota in The Slough at 63, 40

When i am seeing the achievemet, it is not showing me a list of critters to get, i click track and there also is no list, this is like that for To all Squirrels Bfa and Legion -

any ideas ?

Update, i spoke to a GM who agreed it was a bug after testing and have submitted a bug report,

The following pets are capable of being loved in battle pet form, including self-summoned:

Honey Bee or Honey Bee
Olivewing or Olivewing
Crested Gekkota or Crested Gekkota
Bloodfever Tarantula or Bloodfever Tarantula

If you go to Castaway Point in Tiragarde, you can get both Fluttering Softwing and Tiragarde Gull within inches of each other.

Had the same problem some others have mentioned about the Crested Gekkota not working. After a long and aggravating process finally reached final success - evidently more by bloody-minded stubbornness than anything else. To review: Wowhead and other sources will usually direct you near the Blood Gate, where there are usually 3-4 Crested Gekkota running around. There are 3 color morphs - dull yellow, reddish, and a less common greyish. I have made a number of trips with multiple toons and did the /love for every one I could find (when not dodging Azerite blobs or Zandalari spies). There was no resolution on all 3 morphs. There is supposedly one near the Warbeast Kraal, but that's a very dangerous place for Alliance players. I finally found one that worked in the Sliver; I don't have numeric coordinates, but it's just west of the road across from the 'T' in 'Tal-Gurub' on the map. If it matters, it was one of the greyish morph with the black stripes on head and tail. Maybe that's a rare color or there's only one of them and it doesn't always spawn in the same location; I don't really know how the population distribution of those works. It might also matter that the area near Blood Gate phases from time to time when there's a World Quest active there, so the system doesn't recognize the Gekkota in that zone. The observation remains, though; you've got to /love a lot of Gekkota to find the right one. So, best suggestion: Look in wild places south of the Blood Gate and north of the city. You might need to beat the bushes a bit. Further field studies will be needed to find out whether the solution is repeatable. Maybe the great naturalist Attan-Boro will eventually have a publication on the species.
