To get Realizing Your Potential you need Defeat the Hivemind in Ny'alotha, the Waking City after defeating 3 Evolved Specimen on Normal difficulty or higher.

My Theory:
To generate Evolved Specimen you need move Aqir Ravager mob to Acidic Blood.
Aqir Ravager appears when Tek'ris use Accelerated Evolution in Aqir Drone.
Acidic Blood appears when Aqir Drone Die.

to do the achievement there are 3 bugs that are spawned outside of the boss room at different spots. have 3 people click them and get a 2h buff. go in and do the fight and the bugs will spawn during the fight after evolving. kill them and then kill the boss. easy achievement.

You have to find three Promising Specimen in the raid. We found them in room right outside of Hivemind, right outside of Xanesh, and down below near the tenticles.

When you click the buff you gain one of three unique Buffs. Carrying a Specimen

When three people have the buff from the three Specimen you pull the boss. The Evolved Specimen spawn from those players. Kill all three and Kill the boss.

Update and notes:
- Bugs needed to be clicked on for the achy DO respawn (thanks Darklurkar)
- Buff is NOT persistent through death
- Does NOT have to be 3 separate people for the buff, I solo gathered all 3 tonight for my raid (having killed all the other bosses).
- the 3 bugs look like antorus maggots, and are slightly stealthed. They are not trackable by hunter tracking. They can be /tar 'd though (thanks Padrin for confirming)
- the 3 bugs, for me, were in: alcoves in the entrance to Xanesh and Hive Mind (in the doorway where the path splits and you go around a central pillar), and along the top outer edge of the big maw (entrance leading to shadhar etc). I found the maw one hardest to find personally (and nearly gave up in fact), as so much more ground to cover. Some tentacles were still alive when I was looking for it, but they did not pull aggro on me as I was on the lip above them (going around them).
- all 3 erupted from me when the first set of drones spawned, called 'evolved specimen'. They had a bit more health than the drones, but nothing major and no extra mechanics needed. Just cleave them down with the rest as normal, super easy achy.

You can make a macro /tar Promising Specimen to target these little guys so you can see when you're near one. You need to find all three Promising Specimen and click on them to get a buff before pulling Tek'ris . If you have all three buffs (either on one person if you're going solo or on three separate people) then three Evolved Specimen will spawn during the fight. Kill them then kill the boss.

I found the promising specimen in the following spots:
One on the Ny'alotha level of the map near the tentacles (not down the ramp but at the top on the edge) at 52,51.
One on the Ritual Chamber level in the hallway leading to Xanesh at 15,60
One on The Hive level in the corridor before the boss at 73,74

Easy Solo for Level 70 Dragonflight, Level 80 Worldsoul Saga and Beyond...

1. Normal Difficulty.

2. Head to the Hivemine/Tekris room, and on the way you need 3 Promising Specimen, type /tar Promis and mark with blue square so easy to see. Some of these will be a fair distance from 'The Hive'/Tekris room.

3. Head to the Promising Specimen and use it to gain a 2h buff.

4. Rinse & Repeat 2 more times. You will have 3 buffs from the promising specimen.

5. Head back to Hivemind and pull Tekris to begin fight.

6. During fight, Evolved Specimen will spawn, kill the 3 that spawn.

7. Nuke boss.

8. ?

9. Profit. Achievement Completed.
