As lunamoonraker mentioned in U'taka School there are two adjacent pools at 42.83,41.84 on the NW side of the Great Seal in Dazar'alor. I stealthed in & went to this location & there was a U'taka school up in the southern pool, caught two U'taka from it & got the achieve, as I was about to leave a school also spawned in the northern pool & I caught an additional three from that. I fished from the back of the pool with my back to the wall and didn't get hassled by the golem that walks past. I wasn't PVP flagged.

These can be fished from U'taka School that spawns at the following coordinates in Dazar'alor:

43:42
42:44 - For these two spawns, If you're Horde like I am, go ask one of the guards to point you in the direction of the Alchemy or Inscription trainer, and go north from there.

(Will update if I find any other spawn points - I will update this when I personally verify them).

I am yet to find a use for these fish other than vendortrash, but if you are a member of the Alliance, you need to fish one of these up for Baiting the Enemy .

As one can likely imagine, this is basically Old Crafty 2.0 - Far, FAR harder, due to the following reasons:

These are only fishable from pools. Given that they're 50g, Horde people may snag these whenever they're up for what's effectively free money.
As of time of writing, no flight. this means that a stealthy approach is all but required at this point, because if you bring enough buddies to break your way through, you'll likely make enough noise for players to start getting involved, and a lot of Horde will likely have no compunctions beating you to death with your own fishing rod if you don't disable War Mode.
The area you need to fish them is very close to the center of the city, and in the Crafter's Terrace - You can expect heavy resistance from players and NPCs alike (Again, only if you have War Mode on). Of particular note is a Royal Guardian, specially programmed to patrol up and down the area and to atomise any Alliance that it detects.

If you want to go for this one, allow me to make a suggestion: Grab the Underlight Angler and level it up enough to unlock Way of the Flounder. This will make it notably harder for the wandering Guardian to notice you. In regards to the players, as stated, you can switch War Mode off. If for whatever reason you want to do it with Warmode on, there is a large amount of plant life nearby that you can nestle yourself into. If you need to wait, tuck yourself into those plants, sit down, and remove your title so people don't notice letters peeking through the leaves.

I can confirm that Midnight Salmon allow you to teleport into the pool if it's up which could allow you to slip into the nearby bushes and start fishing. Be duly warned, however, that the Salmon does not prioritise this fishing spot over any others, so if another's in range you might land in that one instead.

Happy fishing to both Horde and Alliance. If I ever see any Alliance doing this, I will leave you be, as I know it's hard enough to fish without a highly incompetent mage trying to interfere.

Just did this achievement, pretty easy. The place I found a pool (and that others are saying) is at 43, 42 in Dazar'alor. I was using my Underlight Angler with Way of the Flounder buff. I was standing right against the wall, otherwise a golem might attack you or another player even if he notices you. PS. I got 2 fish from the pool before it disappeared. Good luck on the achievement!

For Alliance, an alternative way to get to 42.83,41.84 (one of the confirmed spawn points of the U'taka School) is to use a Goblin Glider Kit.

Follow the steps:

Travel to coordinates 49.25 41.55 (/way 49.25 41.55). This is the topmost portion of the Temple of the Prophet I could reach.
Jump off in a western direction towards 42.83 41.84 (/way 42.83 41.84) and deploy your Goblin Glider Kit. Make sure to really jump as the flight is quite tight
Guide your glider towards the the waypoint, you'll probably need to avoid the one tree but the rest should be smooth

Once you land, quickly hide on of the sides of the chairs hugging the wall and wait for one of the pools to spawn on either side.

I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the pool to spawn.

Easy Achievement for Level 120 Battle for Azeroth and beyond...

1) Head to the Horde City of Dazar'alor.

2) Make your way to the Western Terrace, location at 43.4, 43.5.

3) Hide behind the grey stone seat statue.

4) Pan your camera so you are looking straight down at your character, you will see two pools on either side of you at max zoomout.

5) Wait for the U'taka School to spawn in either pool on your left or on your right.

6) Happy Fishing. Each U'taka you catch is worth 50 gold, and the achievement will be acquired immediately upon first catch.

7) ?.?.?.?

8) Profit.

It took me about 30-40 minutes for a pool to spawn, maybe more (was watching something, so I didn't pay too much attention to the time drifting about).

As it stands, I assume the pool has a respawn rate of 30-60 minutes (as rares in past expansions had this as well).

Took me about 45 minutes before a pool spawned. Caught 2 of the U'taka fish before the pool despawned.

Just used a glider to reach the spot by a large margin (remaining height until I hit the ground).

Go to Veiled Grotto and make your way to non-instanced Atal'Dazar. There is a road that gets you there, the same you take to reach WQs and King's Rest dungeon portal.
Now before you get into the city stop and turn around: you have such an amazing vista! Oh and btw that over there amidst some trees is Dazar'alor. Just run towards the city and open your glider.

And don't forget to type in the coords if you need to.

Edit: just got the pool to spawn while I wrote this comment. Took me 10 mins.

It does show up on the minimap if you have Find Fish on.

Edit: clarify I meant the non instanced version of Atal'Dazar.

Hi all

I present you How to do Baiting the Enemy. You need to Fish up U'taka is located in Dazar'alor in Zuldazar.
You have 2 spots but very close to each other 43 45 and 43 42.
To fish it up wait to spown U'taka School you need it only for this achievement it means that you can sell it after finish achi you will get 50g for each but you can fish up how many you want :D.
And the last thing way to get to this spots is hard xD I die one time killd by guardians xD maby invisible potion can help but any way after die is short way with no problems :).

PS i did not check do you need to learn fishing in BFA ( i learned before done achi. ) if need it see Alan Goyle in Boralus 74 6.

For those with TomTom go into the city of Dazar'alor

/way 43.4 43.5

I went there with a paladin friend who ran ahead and as a tank wont get dismounted, made it extremely easy to not get killed.

Took about 20 minutes for a pool to spawn in one of the ponds, and we got 3 casts from it before it disappeared, so we both got the achievement at the same time, useful to know if you're thinking of going in a small group.

For those who always use War Mode while quest, etc., TURN IT OFF while trying to do this.
So much easier now that you can turn war mode off. Simple as walking in and fishing it up.

Its fast and easy to use your goblin glider kit from the flight path location "Veiled Grotto". The kite takes you high enough to let yourself glide down the wall at the fishing spot without getting in contact with any Horde NPC's

Good place to wait for fish pool spawn:
/way Dazar'alor:Zuldazar 41.80, 41.20

This point is good by the fact that it is only few yards from both fishing pool spots, and there are no guards and no patrols which can attack you.
This is also non-PvP spot.
(Of course, you will be marked as PvP on by just coming there by foot, but then PvP mark will disappear if you stand on the described spot.)

And by the way, in my case, the time between two spawns was 63 minutes.

The small pool is not fishable any more. The water is too shallow.

Hi I'm new on here but just wanted to say to the Alliance, don't be worried about fishing this up. I used a goblin glider from Veiled Grotto. Go more to the right than straight ahead. If you try to land near the Crafters Terrace in the water I'm sure it was Kingsmouth River a little bit down from it you will be able to walk over the rocks to a few ropes which obviously were set up for us to use. I had to look between the buildings and pylons to see the little area but there it was. Also if you are a hunter dismiss your pet. I was lucky enough to have a pool already up and fished this achievement up first go. After reading all the reviews that I needed to fish a book up and it was as hard as Old Crafty I gave it a go anyway. Yes I'm persistant. FYI I got a wave from the horde so I'm guessing they understand our plight and yes I had War Mode on. Cheers everyone.

There are 2 spawn locations. 43,45 and 43,42. (Check pictures here on wowhead top right)

Small round pond at 43,45
Bigger triangle pond at 43,42

Both can spawn an U'taka fish School. But only the triangle location at 43,42 is fishable.

The small round pond will give the error "Water too shallow" or "Your cast didn't land in fishable water".

Simply wait for a spawn in the triangle one and you will get Baiting the Enemy

TL;DR Not currently possible to obtain.

Currently there is only one pool (the smaller of the two) with a U'taka School. You can't actually cast ('Water too shallow' or 'Your cast didn't land in fishable water') into said pool so that school is obsolete.

I've been waiting for over 1.5 hours, on two separate days, (leveling my fishing to pass the time) for the school to spawn in the other (the larger of the two) pool and it hasn't as yet.

I surmise that the U'take school in the smaller pool needs to be 'fished out' (which is currently impossible) before the bigger pool U'taka school will spawn.

I will bug report it.

Pool is located at 43.04, 42.24 and this is super easy to get to now flying is available (I have submitted a screenshot of the location on the map which should help if you don't have co-ords (if the screenshot ever gets approved)). If you don't have flying you will need to run through lots of mobs to get there and die a few times but there are no mobs in this area once you reach it and you won't be flagged for PVP. However, there is an elite Royal Guardian that patrols to there every so often, so keep an eye out for that.

You may get "your cast didn't land in fishable water" message but just keep moving around to see where you can cast from, I had to be quite close to the water before it worked, but it does work.

Got the acheivement on first cast, so was in and out really quickly. Good luck!

Super easy even without flying. Died just once on the way in and used the chance to scope out exactly where to go. Hid in the trees, couldn't even see pool so not sure if I hit it, but got the achievement with my first cast! :)

Super Easy with flying now. just flew to coords 42 42 and found small pool pf water. waited for golem patrol to go away and fished.

Sorry to disagree, but this is not at all difficult. In fact it is incredibly easy.

The fish can only be caught in a pool. If the pool is up, then there is a 100% chance of catching the fish. If the pool isn't up then don't bother to cast.

So, fly to the spot (I am druid but didn't bother with stealth). If the pool of fish is there, cast and catch. That's it.

The pool is in a little pond in the garden by the steps, not in the creek nearby. Go to the exact coordinates 43 42.

For anyone attempting this without flying, there is a series of clickable ropes from the river below starting at 54.7, 41.1 which will take you all the way to the horde trainers right next to the pool.

I did the equivalent Horde achievement Baiting the Enemy and it seems to have auto-completed this Alliance achievement. I still did the achievement on both sides and it was pretty easy on a level 60 with flying. I stood at 42.56 41.89 in Dazar'alor and didn't aggro anything.
