The Acheivement isnt as hard as it sounds... You don't have to explore 100% of the zone, just the areas it says. (So if you go to a area that you technically already have explored, but discover a cave in that area, it doesn't count toward this achievement.)

If you are looking for The Dens of the Dying, head to the northern border (68,17) where you will discover a crashed necropolis. The map sub-zone is actually named Talramas.

How do you get the the island to the west? I'm guessing it's Coldarra; the last spot before I get this achievement. Oooh how it irks me ><

For thoese of you who aren't 68+ and therefor can't accept the questline for the flight to Coldarra, fear not. You can explore the section by simply swimming close to the foot of the mountain. Worked perfectly for me at level 44.

They are waypoints for Cartographer or TomTom to find specific coord's.
The one's above are specifically for Cartographer, TomTom uses the same system, but with out the comma in the coordinates.

For TomTom the coord's above would look like this

Level and quest requirement: As a level 12 I took the flight path from Amber Ledge to Coldarra and finished the Achivement: Explore Burean Tundra. I was very welcome at the landing site, just some PVP flagged killing nicely each other. No quest chain ofc.

As a level 4 I got the FP and checked and I had the option to fly to Coldarra at the low cost of 50s which I didnt have at the time so I can just go back any time at my leisure and get my Explore Borean Tundra ach. no need for a prequest or anything.

There are way too many places that you can ezplore that doesn't countm like Coast of Echoes, Warsong Granary, Plains of Nasam and Pal'ea

I'm just gonna point this out, While I was doing this, I was looking for some more emblems, so, I took a break from tanking, que'd Dps while I explored, Probs one of the smartest things I've done when I was that bored :)

Also to note, Garrosh's Landing will appear on your map. But you have to actually fly over it to discover it.

Odd, Deaths Stand came through as discovering "Frozen Reach" but I got credit for Deaths Stand.

As an alliance character if you want to do the quest achievement of the zone then you will end up with only two zones that you need to explore. One is Warsong Hold and the other is Garrosh's Landing.

Both of them are at the west side of the map.

I got this achievement locating Talramas at 66.64 15.36.
I was heading for The Dens of The Dying at 73 17.
I also noticed that i had picked up Valiance Keep before I had arrived there too.
When I arrived at the respective trigger points for The Dens and Valiance, I received the XP for the exploration.
