The first two druids(Naturalist Bite and Weeder Greenthumb) are located in Coilfang: Slave pens, while the last two are in Coilfang: Underbog.
--The first druid is up a large ramp after you jump off a downward sloping ramp in a pool of water about 1/2 way into slave pens.
--The second is just prior to the final boss of Slave Pens, Quagmirran. You'll find him to the left just as you enter Quagmirran's chamber. A few Naga will spawn once you open his cage.
--The third druid is just after Ghaz'an. Jump down into the pool, jump back down onto land, and then when the trail splits, head up the hill and you'll find him - if you've ran into mobs, you've gone a little too far.
The fourth druid is hiding behind Swamplord Musel'ek(3rd boss in Underbog - Hunter boss with a pet bear).

Rewards make this worth doing for sure.

The third druid is actually the hunter's pet bear. Kill the hunter to speak to him.

The first druid (weeder greenthumb) is in the southern section of the wall that splits the Slave Pen. She's up a ramp and has several 3 man patrols near the corpse.

For the last two druids, in the Underbog, the third one is after you drop down from the hydra's pool - Go up the ramp to the left before you proceed down to mobs. The fourth one is in bear form, as hunter's pet, as stated above - Kill the boss, kill the bear... druid appears. Woot!

You can reach all of these druids solo as a rogue except for the last one whom you are required to kill before you can talk to him -_-

Can not do it solo as a mage using Invisablity. The guards at the 2nd tunnel and see invisible.

Fairly easy solo'd as a level 70 rogue without any stealth improvement effects/items/talents.

If you're having issues with sprinting+vanishing away from the first pair of stealth-detecting guards, you can sprint+sap one and easily kill the other.

The third druid is stealthed. So even if it looks like you're going to a dead end, keep at it.

I think the most of what was said was confusing, but the first post is the best one. The 1st and 4th is in Underborg and 2nd and 3rd is in Slave Pen (as it is lined up on the quest list).

-1st: Underborg: When you jumped down from Gahz'ar and you are following the road, at the kross go left/up the hill. He is sitting stelthed before you reach the top
-2nd: Slave Pen: After you jump down into the watter. You will find him up the ramp strait forward.
-3rd: Slave Pen: Right before the last boss, you turn left and go up the slope and you'll see a cage.
-4th: Underborg: He is the pet of Musel'ek (the bear). When you beat them, he'll turn back to tauren form and sit down.

Um...I just got summoned to Slave pens and just got this quest immediately..didn't do most of the chain so Did this quest turn into a non chain quest

U see, at the first stealth detectors, u have too jump down in water , and swim too left corner, its hard too explain but then u have 2 walljump,rest is cake :)

Solo'd the SP part on my rogue. I was 63 when I entered. I died on the two defenders by the orange tunnel (the first stealth detecters you meet). I sapped one and killed the other, but got killed by the other one when sapped ran out. Corpseran back and killed the last one using evasion and blind + first aid. That's when I dinged 64. For the next patrol I sprinted by them in stealth, they saw me and I was put in combat but I vanished as I jumped down into water. The rest of the stealth detecters were easily avoided by hugging wall. Nice cloak, but not as long and white as a certain other cape.

I dont know whether is a patch 2.4 issue but i was able to start this and complete without actually doing the chain. So its not part of this chain any more.

This quest no longer requires the chain to be done, it's available once your 62 and can be completed then aswell, I done it yesterday and only today handed in Warning The Cenarion Circle.

Two-manned first part of this quest (2 druids in Slave Pens) yesterday.

Me as lvl 66 Mutilate Rogue + lvl 66 Subtlety Rogue.

There are 2 tight places:

First you will need to pass too guards that see stealth. With two men you can sap one and rush down another one. If sap failed you can use 2 blinds - 20 seconds are more than enough to kill 1 elite.

Second group is not that good - there are 2 melee (they also see stealth) and 1 caster. The tactics we used is this: blinds on each guard - sprint - vanish. Everything should go smoothly.

P.S. I think it's possible to solo this quest although it requires more skill. I could advise using Blind on one guardian, Gouge on the other one then Sprint-Vanish. A bit tricky but still possible.

P.P.S. You may think that this is a waste of time but on my server it takes a lot of time to find a group to instance. Either I'm not lucky or people dislike SP.

You can also just go in the instance after someone's done with it and talk to them, if you need it like right now, and runs of ub/sp are being elusive atm

You don't have to do it exactly in that order. But sure slave pens is easier than underbog.

For those of you who are wondering, this quest does NOT require you to complete the quest chain started by the blueprints of the drain. This can be picked up without having to be sent to find them.

Wowhead lists this as part of a chain, but I was given this quest when a party member shared it and I had not completed any of the previous parts.

If you are trying to farm Cenarion Circle rep, do this quest before you hit revered if you want to save time. The dungeons required for this quest, Underbog and Slave Pens, only give rep from trash mobs on heroic difficulty.

Oddly enough, this quest doesn't have prerequisites, feel free to share it for others to level up faster :)

you can turn it in outside the instances, which is a bit weird to find, since the instance entrances are in an underwater cave which you access by swimming down the large machine's main pipe in the middle of Serpent Lake.

(giant siphon of glowing light above this machine in the middle of the lake... can't possibly miss it.)

This is a simple quest as far as designs go. If you do dungeons often, it is something to pick up quick.

However, be careful, as Slave Pens ends at Lvl 69, and the next dungeon ends at Lvl 70.

As of patch 5.04, this quest is obtainable and can be completed. The quest needs to be edited because it changed so that you only find two of the druids (Naturalist Bite and Weeder Greenthumb) in Slave pen. I was able to complete it on my level 62 Shaman Ripnjinx.

Confirmed this quest IS obtainable and is possible to complete as of 05-17-2018. The only requirements are for the first two druids in The Slave Pens.

! INFO FOR PEOPLE PLAYING ON A TBC-SERVER RN AND DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THIS QUEST !

I was totally lost when I originally tried to accept this quest, cause the Questgiver didn't have it for me.
What is missing here is that there are certain req's and quests you have to do to actually make her give you that Quest.

Which are

Drain Schematics
Warning the Cenarion Circle
Return to the Marsh
Failed Incursion

To get the Quest that starts the chain "Drain Schematics" you need to loot an Item called "Drain Schematics" that starts the Quest which is dropped by Bloodscale Nagas and the Steam Pump Overseer Nagas in Zangarmarsh.

BUT as a prerequisite to this item dropping, you must have completed the quest 'As The Crow Flies', given by Ysiel Windsinger in the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
This is only able to be accepted if you ALSO finished the Intro-Quest to this chain which is called "Disturbance at Umbrafen Lake".

To sum up the actual order of Quests to access this quest is as follows

Disturbance at Umbrafen Lake
As The Crow Flies
Drain Schematics
Warning the Cenarion Circle
Return to the Marsh
Failed Incursion

After that, you can FINALLY accept the Quest "Lost in Action" which you came here for.

Discover what happened to Earthbinder Rayge, Naturalist Bite, Weeder Greenthumb, and Windcaller Claw. Then, return to Watcher Jhang at Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh.

Those four can be such jerks sometimes, but I love them anyway.

That is why I need you to discover what became of them, though I fear the worst. Seek them in both the Slave Pens and the Underbog.
