Currently in Beta, quest requires just a short walk alongside Chen and Li Li, it's the initial quest in the Valley of the Four Winds.

Athelena I don't agree with you. Even though Setback's comment is very basic and obvious it is still helpful. Tons of times when I am doing an escort quest I usually let the NPC walk at his own slow pace while I keep busy killing mobs until the NPC catches up to me. So, because of Setback's comment, I will be sure I don't do that this time and avoid a headache.

Can only 1 person do this quest at a time? Chen and LiLi are not where they're supposed to be but there are tons of people waiting for them it seems. Has anyone else run into this problem on their server? Area 52 btw.

Inevitably entertaining; A pandaren monk probably stands out the least, but doing this as, say, an undead death knight in giant, spikey plate armor astride a giant raven, is hilarious.

The start point for this quest is 75.4,35.5

This is funny. If you start the escort and don't move, Chen and Li Li walk away from you. Eventually Chen despawns, leaving Li Li to stand in place doing nothing.

Chen respawns (with a new Li Li) where he's supposed to be, right next to you. So you start the escort again. The funny part is that the old Li Li now runs back to Chen, and so Chen has 2 Li Li's. Allow them to walk away and Chen will once again despawn and leave 2 Li Li's standing there.

After he respawns, start the escort again, and once again do not move. You will now have 3 Li Li's follow Chen, who again despawns and leaves them there. Chen and a new Li Li respawn, now giving you 4 Li Li's in total.

The additional Li Li's despawn about 3 minutes or so after they are made. Doing it in this fashion, you can end up with 5-6 Li Li's who all follow Chen down the path and spam your chat the same lines at the same times.

quest marker is incorrect, the start for this quest is at shangs stead, not pangs stead.

If, like me, you had to abandon and restart the quest, simply go back to Pang's Stead. Chen Stormstout is sitting outside. Coordinates 75.3, 35.6

To anyone who cant find this quest in its spawn spot and has not done this line or any line in the area -- or can't find information on prerequisites/lead up quests like I couldn't -- the quest that Chen gives you where he starts out ( I believe it is called "Chen and Li") is the start of a short prerequisite line leading up to this. You do not have to do all the random quests you will encounter on the way, just the ones that Chen gives you directly and ones that you get because of those. Ill make a list of them below for reference:

That should be the bare minimum quest line required to gain access to the punching bag quest. I'm not 100% I did the bare minimum, but if you follow those directions and just do only quests that Chen gives you and that spawn due to those quest completions, you'll gain access to it in a matter of 15 ish minutes. Its a handful of quests, but they're all super fast and close. It might seem like a lot but they're extremely fast.

I hope that helps anyone who was in my situation, as I had issues finding any prerequisite information and I didn't want to waste time doing every quest I encountered in the area. Just doing what Chen gave did the trick. Good Luck =)

Doing this as a Void Elf and LiLi didn't make her comment about me standing out. Guessing that would be the case for any character type that didn't exist during MoP.
