Baelog is a character from the Lost Vikings. Previously the Vikings were lost in Uldaman and were killable by Horde players. His signature abilities are his skill with his bow, and his sword. Too bad we won't be able to use his grappling arm from Lost Vikings 2

You'll find an action bar with Baelog's Valhalla Shot and Baelog's war cry that are usable. Click those while in a fight to complete the quest.

Are these 3 Alliance quests bugged?

I completed "Eric the Swift" quickly and easily and now can't get rid of him as my "pet" in order to start one of the other 2. Any ideas/thoughts on how to do this?

After completing this quest along with Eric, the Utility Dwarf and Olaf, the Big Fella', several tips.

At the time of writing this, several bar modification add-ons like Bartender etc aren't compatible with these vikings' abilities. So, before you accept these quests, turn your action bar related addons off.
Once you accept the quest(s), the NPCs' abilities will appear to the right of your screen.
You can do all three quests at the same time.
If you accept the three quests, all the abilities will appear on the single action bar to the right.
When you're ready to actually complete the quest, you have to tag the mob with some spell before the NPCs' abilities become active for use. Simply aggro-ing the mob via proximity won't do.
Once the abilities light up, you can use all six on a single mob if you want to complete the three quests.

If you use an AddOn like Macaroon, you will need to set up a pet action bar at least 10 buttons long. If you have all 3 Viking quests, the buttons that will have the abilities will be 3,4 - 6,7 - 9,10.

For Macaroon, I made a dummy bar, set it to "pet" in bar options, then added 10 buttons to it. Accepted all 3 quests, waited a few seconds for viking pets to appear, and my bar went live. Then I hit a wolf outside the gates, and used each of the buttons to complete all 3 quests.

I also had Baelock die. I went back and attacked the small group of ogres with the other two and let them die. After abandoning the baelock quest I logged off. When I logged back on all 3 were there and I was able to complete all the quests.

I've been having Baelog's Valhalla Shot glitching on me. If it doesn't work the first time, try opening with that ability on the next mob, and hopefully it will give you credit.

Was able to get this quest completed by using his Valhalla Shot to pull the mobs. I found using it in combat gave no credit.

If Baelog dies during this quest, try logging out and dismissing Eric "The Swift" at the same time. This helped reset everything to when Baelog was alive.

All 6 of their abilities are on the Pet Bar! With the introduction of the new Interface in Dragonflight Prepatch, make sure you go into Edit Mode and move your pet bar to a location that it can be toggled.

Also, when you've finished the quest, it looks like the question mark isn't updating properly, just click on them like you'd talk to them regularly and you'll be able to finish the quests.

You cannot command them to attack while on a mount. In case anyone is like me (doesn't play a class with a pet) and wondering why for 10 minutes all the pet bar buttons were greyed out.

Description

Before I start droppin' arrows on those dragons, I'd better introduce myself.

I'm Baelog, the muscle of this group. My sword bites like a crocolisk, and my arrows sing like banshees. I tend to wear down quickly, however, and can't take as much punishment as either of my two brothers.

You give the word, and I'll send an aimed shot right through your target's heart. I can also cheer my brothers on, sending 'em into a battle-fueled frenzy.
