You go to the end of each tunnel and use the Orb on the "smoke".

You should have the quest "Vordrassil's Fall" with you while you do this quest, you kill the slime at any of the 3 areas to collect the samples.

This is NOT in the big tree labelled Grizzlemaw. Searched it for ages on beta, reread quest a lot before asking in general. Its 3 caves located south, south east and south west of blue sky logging grounds.

It is also good to have the quest Eyes Above http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12453 while you do this quest.
The eagles are close to the caves.

this quest is super easy, slimes outside the caves are easy to kill and the cave itself contains no evil things (exept mabey the blck smoke)

PS: anyone know the caves have body part names?

Actually I did find the slime inside one of the caves.. the first one I found no slime but then I went into another and found a whole load of them, but as a Rogue getting past them was simple enough. Very easy quest!

The tear and limb does not have any mobs inside of them, and best way in is just to fly as long in as you get

the heart has mobs, so spec urself DPS before you venture inside (its only about 3-4 mobs in total, and manageable at level 73 as SP)

The Darkness Beneath

Windseer Grayhorn in Conquest Hold wants you to go to Vordrassil's Heart, Vordrassil's Tears and Vordrassil's Limb and use the Geomancer's Orb in the depths beneath the surface.

Description

Something... dark... happened to the tree Vordrassil. After the druids decided to destroy it, its hollow remains grew roots deep into the ground.

I want you to go to the three locations to the northeast where the tree's trunk shattered and go as far beneath the ground as you can.

Use this orb once you get there to get an imprint of the energy surrounding the area. This might shed some light on what happened to Vordrassil and why it failed to become a world tree.
