Found on The Crackling Plains (Right above the word The on the map). As you leave Darkspear's Edge aim North East towards Colossal's Fall. After about a 20 second ride on a mount, you will see some black rocks and large animal bones. The traveler is lying face down on the west side between 2 sets of bones. He drops a bound traveler's scroll which contains a Snow Hare's Foot and a Fur-Lined Scroll. This is half of a little mystery story involving a Young Orc Woman.

The Young Orc Traveler is located at 54.8, 35.4. He should be easy to find near the large animal skeletons on the northwest side of The Cracking Plains.

Interacting with this NPC gives a Bound Traveler's Scroll, which contains Fur-Lined Scroll and Snow Hare's Foot. As noted, when combined with the items from the Young Orc Woman, it creates Talisman of Yearning Unfulfilled.

The content of the lovers' notes to each other paints a very sad picture of two orcs from different clans who meet, fall in love, head out to make a life for themselves (outside the warring of their respective clans), but ultimately perish without ever managing their rendezvous. :(

As the Frostwolf/Thunderlord clans are the only orc clans in the area warring against each other, it's reasonable to assume Karash (this NPC) is Frostwolf, while Magra is Thunderlord. Further indications are found in in the scroll to Karash as well as the letter to Magra. Karash speaks of Stonefang outpost, and Magra makes mention of trying not to wake the other trappers.

This is one part of a two-part rare lootable item. The Frostwolf First-Fang is looted from Young Orc Woman in Frostfire Ridge located north of Colossal's Fall (63.4, 14.7). The second part Snow Hare's Foot can be found on Young Orc Traveler in Frostfire Ridge near The Cracking Plains (54.8, 35.4).

The two parts can be combined to create Talisman of Yearning Unfulfilled.

I would have dragged his corpse to where the woman is/was waiting to reunite them, no clue why this wasn't made as quick quest, tons of quest about "revenge our deaths" "throw their remains like they did to us" bla bla bla, but you can't do anything for this 2

This makes me cry each time I collect treasures on my characters... I start at Karash remains, then follow the bone trail left by Magra up north to find her frozen body, as if still waiting, staring down at the plains, by the fire that's been gone out for days...

And THAT music.... (If you play with WoW sound off, you should try playing at least through Frostfire Ridge with music on).

I was so happy to find your note, I had to bite my knuckle to keep from yelling and waking up the other trappers.
Of course I remember that day! You and Longhowl prowling the flats, looking so fierce. My unsteady aim, that pitiful throw. Can you believe we almost killed each other? Now I want nothing more than to live beside you for all my days.
I know a place. North across the flats, behind the volcano overlooking Colossal's Fall. I will leave bones to mark the way. Come find me, and we can be free together.

Really sad little story, like the one in Talador with the Draenei. I mean these small pieces of content now are GREAT Blizz but can you give us a way to give some closure to these stories please? Like allowing us to burry the bodies or things like that?... I know I must not be the only one wanting to grab the bodies of this Orc couple and give them a proper common resting place.

Doesn't seem to count towards Master Treasure Hunter / Draenor Pathfinder. If you're out and about just finishing up things for flying this is safe to skip to save a couple minutes.

Seems I'm a jaded undead. Found guy, then found her, broke the letter out of her icy grasp, joined them together and then turned around and promptly sold the symbol of their love to nearest trader..
