For those of you that can not figure this out .. .Entrance does NOT mean front door of the Deadmines. You actually have to go through the instance, but no further. As soon as you get through the instance, click the incense burner and just watch it all happen. When done, it will return you to the instance, just go back out .... Whala!

Enter Deadmines, use item (looks like Primal Air) an enjoy. Dangeon must be normal mode if u are not 85!

These are useless tips!

How about telling me how to get into the Deadmines from the house entrance? That place will get you turned around more than a drunk on a merry-go-round!

How about letting people know that if they rez at the graveyard, there are zombies there to instantly attack you before you're full health and now that you have rez sickness?

This quest is a solo quest. I cannot imagine that I am in the right part of it when there are many mobs too close to single-kill and I haven't even entered the instance yet and have died 4 times.

How about some useful info? Please? I checked the Deadmines on Thottbot too and it's just as useless. I'm glad everyone else is a bloody expert but some of us have never been here and need basic tips!

Okay so I can't give instructions from the house entrance, because I magically found myself near the instance entrance. But it is on the far left (west) side of the map and if you come to a bridge and look down to your right you will see the swirly entrance...yay!

so 5 years , he was killed by a group of random players .. with a hunters, it sadden me that hunter acted as retired 'n used no pet

even tho my main is an orc hunter :<

in other note, I almost was able to click no the little girls of Van I almost attacked her with one hit but it was too fast I got ported as soon as the event ended

Here's something that might be helpful that I picked up while doing this quest:
When you're making your way to the Deadmines entrance, don't follow the direction that any hobos might be walking towards. Simply follow the location that they're in; steer clear of vacant passages.

Alright, here is what you do. The entrance is a big house in the very far end with a little door next to it. Go inside here, and just keep going deeper. After you see the mines where the people are mining and God knows what, just keep right. Keep going right and you will see a fence, jump over it and walk straight ahead. Here is the entrance.

Inside the dungeon, use your Incense Burner. Just inside the door is ok. Watch the cinematic and the quest is done.

Find the portal (it's marked on the map of the mine area) and just follow the road to the portal. You'll go past a pipe on your left. Go through the portal, hit the burner, and watch. Then just make your way back out of the mines. Easy as that!

To get to the entrance, head from the quest giver into town and follow the road into the house on the opposite side of the fountain. The entrance has a mob lurking around. Once you're in that house, turn left. There is usually a mob against a wall to the right. After you kill him, go up the stairs and into the mines (but you're not at the instance yet). Go down the slope, over the bridge and around the curve. Find the path of planks under the wooden structure . Follow the planks until you hit a railroad. Keep going along the plank path (the railroad follows that path too) until it ends.(There is a nice tin vein here) Keep following the tracks until you come to the bridge. The entrance is on the level underneath the bridge, ahead and to the right. You should be able to see it from the bridge.

Now I actually almost feed bad about all the times I was bored, so zipped through Deadmines and killed her Daddy by myself as a lvl 80.
