I'm pretty sure Blizz is spin doctoring the amount of people subscribed
first time ive said this: SECOND!And yes i have gotten a little bored with WoW once when i was lvling my lock in Dragonblight or Zul'drak (i cant remember) so i took off a week. Literally the second it was done i came back! What keeps me coming here is all the changes this MMO goes through. Also i like the PvE lore so yeah thats a reason.Since i only have one 80 I would be less bored with it trying to lvl more char to 80.
I stopped playing WoW, but I still come to Wowhead. I really wanna play again though. I just don't really have the money to pay for it. That isn't why I stopped. It's just why I can't start playing.
I leave for a good month or more when i run out of game time and dont have the money to put on my card. I come back if im bored or I got the money to play again, i enjoy wow but sometimes i dont play for a week.
Yea think about the 11.2 million playing,a good amount of them come to YOUR site...Hows that make YOU feel?Anyways I do take a WoW break but I play other games instead when I'm on my wow break (TF2, Oblivion or w/e)So in the end I really dont take a game break just a wow (What can I say? I like games!)
I took a decent break between end of BC and WotLK just because I never really had the time to raid because I used to row, so there could often be 6 week streches of regattas every weekend and not enough time during the school week. So not really loving the pvp and having no desire to level an alt basically all I did was run heroics and do sunwell dailies which bored me so I just drifted away.Finding it happening again now but for a different reason, sit not a a ton of time but in addition the social aspect has always been the best part for me and recently my friends have stopped playng and my guild has slowly gone the way of an old west ghost town so.... we'll see how long I stick around
I've taken many breaks from the game, the longest being a year. There are so many other games out there and when you come back to WoW everything seems so fresh and new. I'm starting to hit that hump again, and will probably quit for awhile after we clear Ulduar. I'm looking forward to several games for the Wii.
This game has never gone stale for me.I do occasionally take breaks though.
I can really get on every couple of days, so I always take short breaks ;P The lore and my friends keep me coming and the fact that WoW is just plain fun. I have been with Warcraft since Warcraft I: Orcs and Humans. And I know from experience that Blizz will never disappoint.
The thing that keeps me going in WoW is mostly the lore, and awesome quest chains which carry a lot of lore with them. I don't care about the people online on WoW, I just want to experience the full story of all dungeons and raids in Azeroth.
I've taken a few breaks but I've come back. Usually because of a new expansion or a major patch, or just out of boredom.
School is srs bsnz.
I constantly have a few MMOs active so I just bounce around which is my main focus if I get bored...and every so often I just take a couple of days where I don't play any MMOs and just play some single player stuff or FPS.
Doesn't rested bonus only last 1.5 levels?
The game went really stale for me when 3.0 came out. Leveling my shadowpriest was just. too. easy. Being able to kill and equal level elite (level +1 even) without much hassle for 3group quests kinda did it for me for a while. I took a break. Then someone told me of the awesomeness of the starting questline of the death knights, so I came back to try those out. They were right, the questline was awesome. When he got to 73 he was shelved (at least for a while... dunno yet), and I started leveling my druid. That was more fun. At least I know I'm supposed to be able to kill equal level elites. Most always been able to on that one.I got to level 75 and started feeling the draft again. But I stuck in there till level 77, and getting my flight form back really did it for me. I'm feeling the awesomeness of playing druid once again :-)
