I'm excited about the fact that... well... nothing really, except the fact that Taurens (which I don't play, to be honest) get Raptors and stuff. Will look wierd, though, a Night Elf on a Mechanostrider. Most barbershops can do this, and if you're not satisfied, you're just whiney, and should live with what you have. You missed a quote.First.
My Tauren friend aiming for the Albino Drake will be happy. I think these changes should have come a long time ago.Glad it's finally here. Hunters with @#$%s FTW!
I'm glad that I can ride hawstriders now! Woot! Also, I am NOT happy with the changes to Hunters. I mean, come on...some were needed, but it seems ridiculous. I for one am sickened by the incredible nerf to Steady Shot (10% of AP instead of 20%). I think that they took it a wee bit too far, and that maybe a happy medium (15%?) would be nice.
Ehh?They're still limited to standard size busts though...
I'm satisfied by these patch notes, even though Steady Shot is getting nerfed (and it sure as heck deserves it too!)
I really wish they had more detail on the item changes. Anyone have the stats on what's being done to bring them in line?
Don't worry, this won't hurt a bit. Just hold still...
The changes to Paladins are completely without merit and obviously due to people constantly complaining. I mean really, I don't even play one and can see that what was originally balancing is now just plain nerfing. Certain things don't seem to have an obvious basis (the Judgement of Wisdom nerf, for example. A percentage of base mana? O_o) but the Divine Shield reformulation and the "You can't use these abilities within 30 seconds of each other" thingamabob are clear results of people complaining about the Paladin's only real defense, his "OSHT" button. 50% reduced damage while in Divine Shield? OK, then. Next thing you know, they won't even be able to attack while in Divine Shield. Though it's not like they don't already have three abilities or so that do that, from what I understand.I realize most people (except people who play Paladins) probably won't agree with me, but just remember this; bubble-hearthing jokes didn't come from nowhere. The last time Blizzard nerfed Paladins like this, they forgot to un-nerf them.Giving Titan's Grip a no-miss chance is also clearly the result of complaints. With the original 15% miss chance, there was a risk/reward for taking that talent. With 5%, it was so insignificant they may as well have just taken it off completely anyway. I would just hate to see what was originally intended to be a DPS PvE spec become the predominant PvP spec, since Arms is just so darn fun.@#$%ing off a mob should have ALWAYS been what gives you credit for killing it. As long as pulling and running away doesn't give credit to the initial player if someone else were to pick it up, this seems like a good change.Wild Growth nerf. Saw it coming. And last, but not least, hooray Raise Ally with no Corpse Dust.
I'm just glad that the Mental Quickness talent for Enhancement Shaman is NOT changing to what's listed in the 3.0.8 patch notes.
Hunters got whacked pretty nice with nerf bat... Steady from 20% to 10% and volley damage reduce by 30%. Plus other nerfs to some key BM talents.Yes, i know that it was coming, but i tought it was a bit less painful.Anyway, a big YES to the lift of racial restricition for mounts. The albino drake is much closer now.About the gender/traits paid reroll... well, there is a reason because i spent a good 10 minutes for each of my chars when i created them. I still like them how they are. I used barber shop only on one of them.
BM spec as a whole is getting removed from consideration as a raid spec as approximately 40% of their attacks were steady shot, so 40% of their dmg is getting its buff by ap reduced by 50%. That alone is going to devastate the spec that was already on fair grounds with MM(SV spec was not a lead competitor... and it will now just be ahead of BM, and yet further behind MM). Add to that the 10% speed reduc for pet, 5%+5%(add 5% first to damage, then add 5% to the resulting damage) dmg reduc, add reduced rake dmg(cats were best dps pets for raids).. add no BW from readiness..... And just wow... BM spec shouldn't even be considered PVE viable with this patch.
Is this for next tuesday? Or has the patch been released?
I'm a NE hunter, and I deserve my mechanostrider after 78 levels. Too bad I'm only half-way through Revered and runecloth prices will be through the roof once everyone tries to get their Gnome rep up to Exalted.... QQ time. And by the way, worst thing in the patch is pledges becoming soulbound, now I can't farm for Peddlefeet on alts! I NEEED HIM FOR ACHEIVMENT AND PET COLLECTION! QQ
How come the ad for this only appears on the US site? Argh.
