cause not everyone has 300k resources?
would be nice to add heirloom bags/containers with 10 slots or 14 like the ones from vendor with the ability of 10% increased speed if you have 4 or mount speed increased(or something else). But i do not know how many would agree with something like this :P.
Always worth waiting until the end of the expansion lol. Just makes the game so much easier.
you mention leveling via invasions, whenever i pop onto an alt, i see the invasion in the zone, but i don't see the little xp quests...not sure whats going at all.also unless your heavily geared, i wouldn't say these world quests for xp are easy to complete, they are certainly not, not unless you just happen to have 840 ilvl gear on, otherwise, its going to be very difficult no matter what spec you are.The idea your attuned to the quests doesn't add up. I really struggled a while back on some xp invasion really badly and i dont call myself a bad player really. Also to level via invasions is quite a difficult thing to do, given they rmg pop any time of day or night, no matter how much xp you get, i doubt you could out level someone doing quests due length of time it takes for invasions to pop
I presume these are also sold by Krom Stoutarm in Ironforge.
Do the new upgrade tokens work on the Garrosh heirloom weapons?
honestly thought they'd just increase the max level the second upgrade token provides when the next expac was released.last time they waited until the new expac dropped to make higher level upgrades to heirlooms. which makes me wonder what's going on.are they actually thinking for once, or is Legion the last expac we're going to see?
Yes the shoulder enchants work, at least for the blood one. I've used it.
I much prefer it to cost gold, rather than resources.Everyone who plays once in a while on the same char, and have already progressed through their Upgrade tree, will be swimming in them.I play roughly two or three times a week outside of missions and I am still getting more resources than I can use. This makes them effectively useless. If there was a useful dump for these, many players would gladly trade them, because they have more of them than they will ever need.If upgrade tokens cost resources, it would make it effectively free for those people. But gold always has a value. It will always cost something, even to the richest to buy stuff for 350,000 gold. That's is a sizable percentage of a spider mount or something on BMAH or whatever sink people prefer. Most people who will want it to cost resources is because they will want to get rid of resources and/or would actually like the upgrades to be free. Which is fair, but not very balanced from a game dev perspective.
Pity there's nothing to spend order hall resources on. They would be a good choice - at least to earn them you had to actually DO something in game... gold, you can earn, but also just buy via tokens.I also don't like the idea of purchasable FP toys. I think they should be given for relevant exploration achievement when it's first earned account wide (means - free for any new players) and only sold for gold to accounts that already have the achievement. Gold usually is not a problem to established players, but a big peeve to newcomers.Gotta love heirloom shoulders for the loot bag enchants, I've been using crafted in conjunction with heirlooms for that so far. Also, rings and necks will be nice, since these slots are a bit harder to fill. The same goes for trinkets, and while the WoD ones are better (815 at 110) the other ones may be enticing due to effects/stats on them... say, Defending ChampionWeapons... are a joke, right? Every order hall has 'standard' 730 weapons (iirc) for a few gold to help deal with the quests for artifact if someone doesn't want to just go with their main spec.
If someone upgrades 5 hierlooms, 25k provided they are already @100 I had most of mine sitting unused since MoP and thought this would be helpful to get through the grind, after just questing through 3 this is a nice break, but its not very cheap if you plan on upgrading several sets through multiple upgrade stages and will add up pretty fast if you still have some base level looms. Yea would been nice to have a secondary currency option as my main has been sitting over 50K in resources for awhile even though i tend to avoid resource quest you still get alot of those from chest, Of course thats never going to happen,, there is a possibilty of darkmoon tickets as well but I havent heard if the upgrade item will be available there yet.
I levelled 12 Alliance characters the old fashioned questing way, and I can attest now that I'm levelling my 13th and 14th (Horde) characters that invasions do work. You get the invasion events/WQs in the zone, but you won't trigger the pre-scenario quest or the scenario if you are below 110. You still do get tons of xp for doing them though, roughly one level per invasion. The only real downside is that your gear remains at a much lower ilevel, so they become progressively harder. Even though the mobs themselves scale down to your level, your gear becomes worse the more levels you gain if you only level via invasions, as there are no gear rewards. Unless you are game to spend hefty sums of gold in the AH every level, these new heirlooms give you a much needed little gear boost. On a side note, participating in Broken Shore elite kills when there isn't an invasion going on with an almost full set of the xp granting heirlooms nets you about 10k xp per kill, plus potential Dauntless tokens, plus Nethershards. It's a decent way to gain some xp if you are sick and tired of doing the questlines again, plus easy way to get some decent starting gear once you hit 110. Just throwing it out there.
