As someone who has never heard of Harvest Moon and doesn't play any game on Facebook, I thought I'd throw my thoughts into the proverbial discussion pot.I love this farming business and hope Blizz takes a good hard look at what they did with Tillers rep progression and apply those concepts elsewhere. Biggest benefit is being able to farm your own cooking mats - literally! At Exalted you'll have 16 plots of land - that's a minimum of 80 veggies every single day! The very idea that I can plant what I want and know it will be there waiting for me the next day is awesome. I also was impressed with how tightly the Tillers rep progression is tied into the Pandaran level cooking. Every one of the 10 NPCs you are supposed to befriend has a different favorite dish. Each dish is one of the starter recipes you get while leveling all the Ways of Cooking except for Way of the Brew. No more wasted food - save those up and give them to the Tiller NPCs when you reach 90!My demo lock is very close to Exalted with the Tillers and has become Best Friend with 9 of the 10 NPCs. I discovered two things today that are not listed in the Article.First, the special farm improvement items sold by Gina (Tillers QM) appear to become purchasable only when you have reached Best Friend status with her. Second, Sho's addition to the farm is a very nice Orange Tree. :) She specifically states that it represents your friendship with her.About the only thing I'd love to have Blizz add is a root cellar or other storage spot to store seeds and veggies in. Maybe make that a reward for getting all 10 NPCs to Best Friend... hmmm...

Soon it will be time to farm...I wonder if I'll ever raid with all this stuff.
As of live, Jogu the Drunk now charges 25 gold per prediction if you're not Best Friends.
So do the sheep and goats etc. actually benefit you? Is it possible to eventually farm meat or fish on your farm?
Any clue how to get on the next step of votes? I've been farming and doing all dailies, giving food and gifts for 2 days, still no follow-ups and 5800\6000 honored.
As a human you gain 2160 reputation each time you feed themthis means that you need 100 units per dish to raise up to 42.000 rep
"You can start tilling at level 86, but you won't gain reputation for crops until level 90" is untrue. You can do the starting quests and unlock the first four plots when you are 85. The rep part is correct, the rep dailies do not unlock until you are 90.
no, watering is only for parched crops. You will get 5 of each veggie from each crop harvested, unless it is the crop of the day, which Jogu the Drunk will forecast for you (for a fee).
I have items that I need to turn in to certain NPC's Tina Mudclaw for example. But when I find her at her farm I can't turn it in. I'm 89 still, do I have to wait til I'm 90?
thank you!
Will the "Best Friend" rep count for the "X amount of reputaion" achevments?
When I reached there, that I could select a best friend on my farm.Do you have any meaningful choice? or are there just for decoration on the farm?
Can confirm that Friendship IS affected by the Hallow's End rep buff.
Thank you Blizzard, for bringing life back into the dailies! I've thouroughly enjoyed the rep rewards from the Tillers, Cloud Serpent faction...even a rep faction for Nat Pagle (gotta say, I didn't see that one coming!). Since I do little raiding, Cata sort of fell on its face for me.Great job!
