FINALLY! I might be able to get past 6/12 through PUGGING (which is my only option at the moment)!
Seems unnecessarily complicated. They should really just make it so you can only loot each boss once per week. That would make it a lot simpler and achieve the same thing.
Wow this is interesting. I cannot wait to give it a try!
I think this is Great! Our guild, for example, is bored SPITLESS on the first 6 bosses - they amount to little more than an excercise in grinding. But you could imagine the idea of some of our 10 man "clearing out the trash" earlier in the week and then forming up to START on PP on our regular Friday night 25. Would increase the amount of time that we have to work on challenging content. For 12 encounter raids like icc (which takes even being extremely efficient 120-150 minutes of game time) I think this is just absolutely fantastic. I also don't see how it "cheapens" the game or "makes it even more geared to the casuals" - lets face it, at this stage there is a LOT of tedius work on bosses you can do in your sleep to get to anything that amounts to "fun".
Wow finally, a possible cure to fail pugs.
I see this an excellent way to deal with guild sign up but no shows.
Good news everyone!
I'd like to see it in action before giving my opinion :)
I like it, mostly. The heroic/non heroic part confuses me a bit.
Cataclysm+ environment+ new races+ 85 lvl cap+ guild lvling- raids- retarted, RETARDED, new class/race combinations- saying "we want WoW less complicated, so we are getting rid of arpen" etc, and then come with that pile of super-complicated !@#$Still not sure if I'll be playing..edit: thank you, grammar nazi ;)
So now you can only earn badges (or points) for 1 run through and not a 10 man and a 25 man? Wouldn't this lower the max earned in one week by 25 badges? (or the point equivelent)I know cata is around the corner and this won't matter much soon but for the time being...
So this means we can't get Justice points for running 2 ICC in one week any more. Not sure I like that. Seems like we have just lost something not gained something.
Seems like a really good change. The one thing I don't like is being locked out of the lower bosses. If, for example, I jump into a raid and down Saurfang and the raid group quits then I can't go back and do the first 3 bosses that week. Or am I wrong about that?I wonder if we're going to see people jumping in to do certain bosses and then leaving the group.
