Wow. Just, wow. The Feral talents rock me like a hurricane. This is my projected build for tanking at 85: http://cata.wowhead.com/talent#0ZiMIbRcrtcczbGz0to0Ectb:z0ncz0Skipped on Endless Carnage in favor of Brutal Impact and 5/5 Perseverance. Another iteration would be to take KotJ & Primal Madness instead and leave Perseverance at 2/5, but I'd personally prefer the added survivability and more frequently available interrupt.Pulverize is going to be an awesome way to dump excess Rage, but the description is a bit confusing. I figure it's intended to consume all stacks of Lacerate on the target when used, though.
I'm really not too pleased about the changes they did to the resto build.. Nature's Splendor is moved down a tier, so that I can't grab it unless I invest points in useless talents; the top tiers in the resto tree are also pretty useless for a healer and benefit the other trees more than the resto tree itself. Funny how there's a lot of talents in the resto tree that greatly benefit bear/kitty and even Moonkin, but how the feral tree has only 1 non-feral talent (Thick Hide) in the first 4 tiers and the balance tree has shifted a bit so that you have to spend points on mediocre talents just to get the good stuff. It feels to me as though resto has been changed to better complement the other 2 trees, but without taking into account the resto build itself.I've been messing around with a possible PvE spec, but what I can come up with is just 'meh'. Especially when compared to the other Druid trees or even the other healing trees (my Disco Priest, for instance, is quite delighted). It just feels sub-par.Restoration:Perserverance - why would a PvE healer need spell damage reduction?Subtlety - I thought they said they got rid of all threat-reducing talents? Or is that Warlocks only?Naturalist - filler for Nature's Grasp (and requiring no less than 5 points!), but only useful for the reduced cast time on Nourish. Again a lovely melee talent in the resto tree -.-Imp ToL - increases damage done.. wtf.. okay granted, it's worth taking 3 points in it to lower the CD by 1.5 minutes, but still.. resto Druids are already limited because of the CD in the first place, and then all they get to buff that form is a lowered CD and a useless damage buff.. seriously, that's lameImp Barkskin - now that we're not shapeshifted most of the time, you might as well put 2 points in here for extra armor :sBalance:Nature's Reach - filler only to reach Nature's Splendor.. again, I thought they'd remove all threat-reducing talents, but even if not then it sucks that you need to pick this talent just to reach NSAny feedback on my build is appreciated, as I might've missed some upcoming changes that would make certain talents worthwhile (like damage becoming a part of healing). But for now, I'm disppointed.ps: Efflorescence isn't correctly displayed in the Calculator. If no points are put in it does describe the flora bed effect but leaves out the Spirit increase, and with 1/2/3 points in it the description only shows a Spirit increase.
I had Shredding Attacks for cheaper Lacerates in low-rage situations, but I can understand if that's not a concern for most people. TBH, I'm fairly new to tanking so I'm still learning what's important, what isn't and what works for me. As I alluded to earlier, I have spent a lot of time reading the Helpful Threads to try and become a better tank, though.
Why change Nom Nom Nom? Best talent name ever IMO.
