2013/11/30 at 12:29 PM
This guide helps you find the perfect tabard to match your transmog or new armor! We've organized all the tabards by their source, as well as by expansion. We've also provided thumbnails of all the tabards--click on them to view them in our 3D modelviewer.
Tabards currently take up a lot of bag space, but there may be plans to consolidate them as a
collection in Warlords of Draenor
, similar to mounts and pets.
News Round Up: 5.1 Angler's Tabard, Mistweavers in 5.2
2012/12/11 at 11:27 AM
In today's news, Blizzard dropped more hints about 5.2--this time, concerning Mistweavers. There's also a few posts on the creative side of the community--one highlights an interview with Michael Whelan, the artist responsible for the iconic image of Deathwing, over at
, and the other covers the annual Blizzard Holiday Spotlight, featuring your most artistic cards and tastiest treats inspired by Azeroth. Speaking of Winter's Veil, Blizzard is also running a sale on most of their products if you are looking for the perfect stocking stuffer!
And it wouldn't be a news round up with at least one mention of LFR. Draztal explains why the decision was made to remove the status message upon zoning in.

Mists of Pandaria: Reputation Quick Facts (Updated for 5.4)
2012/09/30 at 12:39 PM
This guide provides quick facts for every Mists of Pandaria faction: where their quartermaster is located, how to gain reputation, and rewards. You can visit Wowhead's faction pages for more information, as well as our reputation guides, which have been updated for 5.4.
Eight factions originally shipped with Mists of Pandaria: four have epic gear rewards, while the other four have quirky vanity items. All have epic mounts and detailed tabards as Exalted rewards.
In later patches, two factions have been added for the Alliance and Horde (four total), as well as a raid-related faction and Timbermaw-style reputation grind.
Reputations are a bit different to grind in Mists of Pandaria--the old system of equipping a tabard and farming dungeons has been removed. Tabards only serve vanity purposes now and reputation is gained by doing daily quests. Each faction has a compelling story behind it and the daily quests are interesting and varied, such as completing a racecourse on a cloud serpent.
Patch 5.4 Reputation Changes
Justice Point and Valor Point gear no longer requires reputation and has undergone cost changes.

News Round Up: MoP Tabard Preview, Character Transfer Sale, PTR Soon
2012/07/20 at 11:12 AM
The latest beta patch introduced all the tabards for the Mists of Pandaria factions--they blow tabard designs from past expansions out of the water. Unlike past expansions, tabards will not be the first thing players buy at Friendly for reputation gains. Instead, they will be vanity rewards only available at Exalted, just like tabards in Burning Crusade.

Get Ready for WoW's 7th Anniversary: A Guide to Collecting Tabards
2011/05/14 at 8:56 PM
WoW's 8th Anniversary
datamined on the PTR, it’s time to give tabards another look. If this goes live, it appears that for this year’s anniversary you can transform the appearance of your tabard, possibly into ones you’ve previously obtained. And even if this goes the way of the dance studio, it’s still a good time to brush up on available tabard options with the new achievement
in patch 4.1.
This guide is organized by tabards that were introduced in each expansion as well as the means for obtaining them. When changing factions, many tabards will convert accordingly as we’ve noted below. Also, if you destroy some tabards (PvP, BC reputation, select achievement rewards), they can be obtained again from
in major cities. Some rare tabards cannot be replaced and we’ve noted them as such. Other common tabards for Wrath/Cataclysm are cheap and you can simply buy them back for a few silver from their respective quartermasters.
