Also, it summons a normal black Draenor wolf to be your guardian, and rip faces off. Combine with Arcanite Ripper for maximum efficiency.

Seems to be worthless. Dummy shows that proc will be responsible for 0.3-0.4% of your damage (survival hunter, 600 average item level).

This can and will proc with Howl of the Frostwolf

Its pretty cool having two wolves run around with you. Reminds me of old school Thrall.

Currently solo farming the 100 elites in Nagrand and its proccing for me once a battle.
Terribad DPS from the wolf with poor AI and it doesnt place a shield around you or anything else useful.
Novelty trinket thats only to raise your iLvl instead of having a meaningful stats.
What a waste of what could have been a fun and useful trinket.

This item summon a wolf, which makes it intrinsically sweet and amazing by itself, but once I equipped it, that's when the magic happened. After checking to ensure that the trinket properly worked, I walked from my garrison into to Frostfire Ridge with the trinket equipped and was immediately approached by women. The women knew from the wolf that I summoned that I, like a wolf, am a mysterious loner who knows how to 'howl at the moon' from time to time (if you catch my drift!). The women that approached me wanted to know if I would be their boyfriend and/or give them money for something they called meth. I told them no, because they didn't have enough teeth, and frankly a man with a wolf-trinket shouldn't settle for the first thing that comes to him.

I arrived at Stongfang Outpost, and did my best to stay in combat so that my wolf would show. While I was trolling general chat, I could hear aroused asthmatic breathing behind me. I turned around to see a slightly sweaty dream in greys and area specific greens standing there. She told me she liked the wolf my trinket summoned, I told her I wanted to howl at her moon. She offered me a swig from her Flask of Pure Mojo and I headed back to my garrison, with her shuffling alongside and into the rest of our lives. Thank you Call of the Wolfmother.

Pros: Fits my girthy frame, calls forth a wolf, attracts women
Cons: Only 1 wolf (could probably use a few more, maybe even a dozen), cannot see wolf when sitting out of combat, wolf would have been better if it glowed in the dark, breathed fire, and howled loud enough for all of Draenor to hear it.

Had<<< This trinket on my rogue, but most of the time the wolf aggroed from 1 to 3 mobs after I kill one. I don't need that.

Why? Not sure.

But I will tell you this: TAKE IT OFF IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LOW-LEVEL TAMEABLE.

I just lost Sunwing to the wolf from this. The wolf will grab aggro off you, interrupting tame.
