Hey, guys. I recently noticed I had two charges for a 1 month World of Warcraft subscription, one which was authorized and another a few days later which is fraudulent. I'm disputing this claim with my financial institution. I was wondering if this person is going to face any repercussions for stealing my information? Anyone have an idea?
If the card had a fraudulent charge on it, the first order of business is to make sure that the bank is aware as you need to have that card closed and reissued so that this does not continue. Secondly, you'll want to make sure this is clearly communicated with us - you can contact us via
web chat during normal phone times, or you're welcome to call us. Be sure to let us know the specifics of the proper and questionable charges. Although we will not go into the specifics of what happens to another account, you can be sure we'll work with you to make sure that the card is blocked, and that any recently reported fraudulent charges are refunded to you.
