Blessed Resilience in Cataclysm will be OP.
That being said, dmg prevention such as PW:S and DA will dominate since it isn't affected by all of the Mortal Strike abilities.

Blessed Resilience in Cataclysm will be OP.
I don't see why or how.
Blessed Resilience in Cataclysm will work exactly the same way it works now in WotLK.
It will work the same as it does now, but how resilience works will change.
Resilience as a stat is OP for crit reduction right now because it reduces chance to be critted on as well as reducing dmg taken. Lots of dps don't even go for crit in pvp at the moment, but instead stack for dmg via spellpower, AP, or other stats other than crit because resilience reduces the effectiveness and therefore, the value of crit as a stat.
In Cata,
when resilience does not reduce chance to be critted on
, we will be getting critted on much more often. Which means having a talent that blocks crit (and basically is proccing every 6 sec CD) is going to be incredibly more useful than it is now.
ps- Just because you have lots of HKs doesn't mean that Holy pvp is awesome. Most of the time it just means that you are getting lots of healing in via AoE healing. Which is fine, but certainly not tell-tale for which spec is better.

No need to get sensative, I was just making sure people understood that since you're claiming some big stats for Holy pvp as the first words out of your mouth in the discussion. Thanks for clarifying what you mean with this post.
Moving on, do you understand how Blessed Resilience will be more effective in pvp in Cata? I tried to explain why I think it'll be more powerful, so let me know if you think it makes sense or not.

Finish the sentence. Since I am claiming to have played long enough to have 191,000 HKs,... what?
The noun that you missed as the subject of my sentence is "THAT", referring to your above post that you aren't advocating that holy is better than disc for pvp. It should have a comma after it.

You are missunderstanding me if you think I'm looking for a fight. I thought your 191,000 HKs sounded like you were suggesting that Holy is better for pvp. You've clarified yourself. No need to discuss it anymore. I'd rather get back to this:
Blessed Resilience in Cataclysm will be OP.
I don't see why or how.

To which my response was this:
It will work the same as it does now, but how resilience works will change.

Let's keep it on track now and not de-rail the OP's thread.

I hear what you are saying Panik.
Don't forget though, of that approximately 33% crit of the current classes that you inspected, against a resilience capped player they will roughly have -15% chance to crit on them. So resilience currently is blocking 15% crit chance, which is quite a bit.
In Cataclysm, having 33% crit will mean having 33% crit, so I see BR making more of an impact by filling the role that resilience is currently using, if that makes any sense.
