These cloth gloves are interesting, because they come with the suffixes of the Monkey and Falcon. This makes them excellent options for level 20+ rogues and hunters, and they are in fact the BiS gloves until another pair of cloth gloves with the same suffix(es) at level 21, Ivycloth Gloves. You could finally replace these with leather alternatives at level 22 with Wolfclaw Gloves or Toughened Leather Gloves, but both options may be too expensive for a fresh rogue/hunter. You could very well wear these cloth gloves until level 30+, until you get something like Shepherd's Gloves, Gemmed Gloves or Tiger Hunter Gloves through quests.

Other options that could possibly rival these are the Red Whelp Gloves (for rogues only) and Fletcher's Gloves (for hunters only), but both items are semi-expensive and don't offer reliable, static benefits like raw stats do.
