This is one of the buildings that will be introduced with the Garrison in Warlords of Draenor expansion pack. This is the final level of this building.

This will very useful for players with the Skinning, cooking, and first aid skills, and has the following abilities for each level:
Level 1: Produces leather, meat, cloth, and grants access to new provision missions.
Level 2: Now stores up to two days of agricultural goods.
Level 3: Unlocks Specializations, and capacity increases to four days of agricultural goods.
This can only be placed on a medium lot.

Other buildings that can be placed on a medium lot include:
Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern Level 1
Lumber Mill Level 1
Trading Post Level 1

Level 3 Barn offers:

The use of Deadly Iron Trap to trap certain Draenor wildlife under 50% health.

Placing up to 21 work orders; it takes four hours for one work order to complete. A work order requires one:

Furry Caged Beast, acquired by trapping talbuk or wolf - produces some Sumptuous Fur
Leathery Caged Beast, acquired by trapping clefthoof or elekk - produces some Raw Beast Hide
Meaty Caged Beast, acquired by trapping boar or riverbeast - produces some Savage Feast
Caged Mighty Clefthoof, acquired by trapping elite Ironhide Bull - produces lots of Raw Beast Hide and Savage Blood
Caged Mighty Riverbeast, acquired by trapping elite Wetland Trampler - produces some Savage Feast and Savage Blood
Caged Mighty Wolf, acquired by trapping elite Direfang Alpha - produces lots of Sumptuous Fur and Savage Blood

You can also assign a follower with Skinning trait to the building. Doing so increases the work order yield (affected by the follower level).

The Level 3 Barn is rewarded by completing Master Trapper. This achievement is account-wide so creatures trapped by all characters count towards this.

At the current rate of Work Orders (4 hours) it will take 20.83 days to get Master Trapper, which is needed to purchase the level 3 Barn. So until then, you cannot get the level 3 Barn to start farming Savage Blood. Keep in mind, these numbers are based on one character, but the achievement is account-wide. If you have 10 characters doing this each day, the achievement will go 10 times as fast.

However, if you simply need to queue the work order instead of completing each one, it should take 18.5 days to simply place all of them, at a rate of 14 work orders per building.

Furthermore, if you have Storehouse Level 1, then it will take 17.6 days to complete this achievement, since you get an additional 5 work orders per building.

Adding a follower with the Skinning trait will also increase work orders and further decrease time, if you only need to start work orders and not finish them.

Remember, work orders do not complete at the same time, one must complete before the next can begin.

Until you can get the level 3 Barn, you are better off farming Primal Spirit and trading 50 of them in for Savage Blood.

i have had 7 work orders of caged mighty riverbeast completed and i have only gotten one savage blood and 22 savage feasts. this includes the level 100 follower with skinning.

Ever since the nerf on the traps cooldown to 15 seconds, you can get two captures from a single creature.

The tactic is just to drop one when the mob is around 80% health, depending on the mob and your damage. Then you drop another trap right on top of the first one, remember don't move. After that drop the mob below 50% and pull it over the two traps.

This way you should get two items in your bags if you manage to capture it in the 15 second window the traps are a top of each other. Rather easy when you get a hang of it.

Saves a lot of time when capturing elites.

So far, the best place I found to farm the caged beasts for leather work orders are those Tamed Clefthooves near the Gorian Beast-Lasher from the stables mount-in-training quests in Nagrand, to the south of the Ring of Trials, since they respawn real fast, once you trap all of them. This place is good for the skinners too I think, even to level it up. Coords > 78.2, 72.1 (Nagrand).

Oddly enough, one cannot have a mount (or druid travel form) inside of their Barn Level 1 (all levels), yet all pets seem welcome at the Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern Level 1 (all levels).

Today i got my level 3 barn, got the quest and the new trap and set out to nagrand to capture an alpha wolf. It registered in the quest log. When i came at the barn, there was no option to place "a large work order "and the only options there were the normal ones. I still have a lot of cages with trapped animals in the bank and when i choose for the fur one (wolves give fur) it took a normal one from the bank. So do i need to wait till i used up all my bank cages before i can place a large work order? Seams very odd. Or is this a bug?
