3 things.
1: darkton u still owe me a move on our little game :P either admit (permanent) defeat over the 2 points u havent been able to block, or make your move (i'm still waiting)
2. skree: o_O that page is from issue 24? I've read all the 23 that I got, I don't recall that one, can u pass it to me bro?
3:varian vs med'an of course med'dan would win, even if varian is face to face, melee range of med'an, he's still just a warrior, still bound by the limitness of magic-less plp.
if they are face-to-face med'an can just summon a shield of magical nature to block varian, teleport away, and then blast him up good.
in-game all 10 classes are balanced (that was sarcasm xD) but on lore, pure-melee classes get pwned by those who use magic.
example.
ME HUGE WARRIOR ME KILL YOU!.
(warrior leaps with his gigantic sword)
Mage: i'm bored of this, (snaps fingers)
POOF.
WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SWORD? (it's made of cotton now)
Mage: I disabled your weapon, you are no threat to me now. (blasts him up)
a warrior or rogue or archer, is only good as long as they have a weapon, take their weapon away and while they still make a semi-dangerous foe, they can be subdued without problems.
I mean, broxigar the red, the mightiest warrior on the universe, got pwned by the moonguard, why? they used magic to restrain him.
once he had his weapon removed, he had a hard time killing 3 felhunters with his bare hands.
you can remove, or break weapons.
you can't remove or break magic (not without having magic yourself)

I was talking about Varian vs. Med'an if no magic was involved, only a melee fight. Varian would wipe the floor with Med'sue if that was the case.

Well, yeah, but Med'an is a guardian. Like he's gonna be caught without magic. :P

In case you all have forgotten, Med'an
tried
to jump Varian, and Varian threw him-aside like he was nothing.
Yeah..... at the same time he was prepared to kill his mother. And he didn't have full control of his powers at that point. Now a days, if he saw someone threatening to kill his mother, he'd probably just blast him through a wall, forget the whole attack someone with a stick, just blow them up, works so much better.

Wow. And to think just a couple of months ago Med'an was a "poor, defenseless child" that was threatened by that big meanie King Varian. Now he can nuke Forgotten Ones to ash with one shot. How time flies...Well, that's the comic for ye.
I never said he was defenseless, either. I merely said it's wrong to kill a child.
In case you all have forgotten, Med'an tried to jump Varian, and Varian threw him-aside like he was nothing. To save his mother.
And Varian said, and I quote: "I've been no child killer--but for Garona's cub, I could make an exception!"
The point in my thread was that he was willing to kill a child because he's
Garona
's child.

Lawls, bad excuse. How is it a bad excuse? Med'an was half the size of Varian at that point, and through the magic of the comics, he's now buffer. Still, as I said, if Varian tried to kill Garona after Med'an's upgrade... he'd be ashes on the wind.

The main reason I am not happy with this is because a few months ago, Skreeran said "Oh ma godz, Varian threatend to kill a child? He is soooooo evil!"
And now the case is "Haw haw haw, Varian could get beat by a child!"It was a discussion, not really an attempt at persuasion. I was open to explanation. Take, for example, this bit:
I have to say Supremacy, you make a compelling defense, but you must at least agree that killing a child is wrong, regardless of the circumstances. Varian's greatest defense here is the fact that he didn't actually kill Med'an.
And it makes me glad that Med'an can defeat Varian because that means the Garona won't die (otherwise Varian and Med'an would have to fight).
If the son of someone who preteded to be your fathers friend, then killed him, came up to you with a gun, what would you do? Would you really care? Would you actually suffer any emotional harm if something happend to them?Perhaps not, but would I kill their child? No.
Btw, part where Varian gives Med'an to Twilights and Garona crys FTW >:DWell that just tells me what kind of person you are, doesn't it?

If Med'an gets in Varians way again, then there is going to be one less sue around here.Yup, and his name starts with a V. Seriously, you watch too much Dragonball Z Dark, Med'an doesn't need a charge up time, he can call on the powers to take things out in one hit. Like Skreeran said, The Guardian can hold in their powers after the Council gives it to them. I'd take the Mage with near God like powers over the Swordsman with a pair of fancy pant's elf swords.

Because, Med'an can't spend half a hour preparing a huge attack with the help of a dozen people before Varian could swing his head off. So he killed a faceless one, have you guys read Varians part of the comics? He is pretty gifted too.Hey, Medivh and Aegwynn ran around with their power turned on all the time. Who's to say Med'an can't?
If Med'an gets in Varians way again, then there is going to be one less sue around here.I agree.
Lets say the child is going to kill you.Did it really look to you like Med'an was going to kill Varian?
And besides, whatever I did from that point would be in self-defense and only as necessary.
I sure as hell wouldn't say: “Well, I haven't killed any person before, but for the son of the person who killed my father, I'll gladly make an exception.”
We all already know I am a person who hates Garona. And I dislike Varian, but I don't wish suffering upon him.

If Med'an gets in Varian's way again, he is going to get killed.Yes, Varian will be killed. The Guardians have taken on threats far more dangerous then some human king, and survived.

Do you wish suffering upon Blackmoore and Proudmoore?Blackmoore yes, because he was a sadistic bastard drunk or sober, who beat children and raped Taretha.
Proudmoore, no. He needed to be stopped, yes, but I understand where he was coming from and I don't wish suffering upon him.
Nor do I wish suffering upon Varian, because I understand his motivations, and while I may not agree, I certainly don't wish suffering upon him. I don't like Varian, but I would still be just as shocked and angry should Anduin be kidnapped by an orc to hurt Varian.
You, on the other hand, seem to be happy that Garona's child was kidnapped, just because he's Garona's child. I mean, I don't like Med'an (well, honestly, I
am
starting to warm up to him), but I like his mother, and I find it rather disappointing for you to be glad that her son was kidnapped just because it would hurt her.
